[Three Broomsticks] Warm Butterbeer Cold Winter (Kelly)

Zachary was done with his shopping in Diagon Alley.  Today, he was sporting a short sleeved button up shirt.  It was dark grey with pears on it.  He had his usual large cargo shorts, a belt hanging on by faith, knee-high Hufflepuff striped socks, and black overly large sandals.  He was holding a purple leash with a small cat at the end. 

She was shiny black except for her sides, belly, and limbs.  They were licked bald and a light grey color due to the small amount of fur still hanging on.  She had a white spot on her chest and her tongue was very slightly sticking out.  Most of her fat settled on her belly and it wobbled back and forth as she walked.  She kept screaming, but Zachary knew this was just her normal meow.

He walked into the Three Broomsticks and sat down.  He ordered two butterbeers.  He lifted Luna onto the table and she slurped one down with him.  The workers seemed annoyed, but didn't say anything.  Zachary smiled as he saw another fourth year student walk inside.  He waved happily and gestured for her to come over.  The large smile on his face didn't seem to be fading any time soon.

Kelly was annoyed, pissed off but she couldn't go home. Not now, she couldn't face Ryan and Jane right now. It broke her heart, she felt used and dirty because of it all. But, maybe something like a drink would help her a bit. Granted it was just butterbeer but who was to say that butterbeer and pumpkin juice weren't a drink that could make one feel better. Pumpkin juice was her drink of choice. She followed after an odd looking pair, a fellow fourth year and his odd looking cat?

After opening the door and walking inside the three broomsticks, she made her way to the counter. The man behind the counter passed her a pumpkin juice and when she turned around, she saw the boy waving her over. She perked a brow at him, great just another boy wanting something from her. But she decided that maybe company wouldn't be so bad. She made her way over and sat across from him. "Your cat, she's cute." She smiled and watched as the cat lapped at the butterbeer.

Zachary's eyes lit up as he heard the compliment.  It was rare that someone thought nicely of his cat.  "Thank you" he added.  He looked back at Luna and pet her head.  She almost finished her butterbeer.  Although cats are carnivores, he considers Luna an ALLnivore.  She will eat anything put in front of her.  Her giant tongue continued to lick up the warm butterbeer.

"My great-grandmother is taking me, as usual.  She never visits Britain, and I usually go to Japan during break.  She came as soon as she heard the dome was down."  Zachary knew that his great-grandmother, Akari Jung, loved going to wizarding towns outside of Japan.  She was browsing some other shops, but out of the corner of his eye he saw her spying on him.  He could tell by the look on her face that she was just visioning their wedding together.  Her eyes were watering, a large smile was on her face, and she was huddled down in a corner.  Zachary is glad he hadn't gotten a boyfriend yet.  She already hit him with books, and he didn't know what she would do next.

Luna stared at Kelly.  Her eyes were like laser beams, and she didn't seem to blink.  Zachary knew that look.  He knew it too well.  "Luna....." he carefully muttered as his voice fearfully cracked.  Luna started bolting towards Kelly, but Zachary grabbed her tailk before she could make it.  Zachary's cheeks filled with red.  "It's not you!  She does that to everyone, and everything."  Zachary gave her the butterbeer mug again and she kept slurping it.  "What's your name?  What house are you in?  I guess not Hufflepuff, I don't think I saw you before.  Are you excited for Hogwarts?"
