Meike watched as her friend turned her gaze skyward. Kristina was so pretty, she thought absentmindedly. She always had been. Meike felt a little stupid for feeling surprised about it.
"Yeah, I mean, I'm glad about classes being back to normal," she admitted with a nod. "I'm pretty sure the meal plans will be finishing. And dance classes." Meike screwed her nose a little. She'd never been a good dance partner; it turned out that physical fitness didn't equate to elegance, much to her chagrin. "I do feel a bit ripped off with the language classes though, I almost killed myself studying Bulgarian for a year and now those skills will probably just rust." Meike laughed lightly, then took a slow sip of the wine. It wasn't unusual for the Rosenthals to have a glass of wine with dinner and it wasn't as if Meike hadn't drunk wine with friends before, but it usually didn't happen in places like Berlin city.
"How about you," she asked, flicking her pale green eyes to Kristina curiously. "Are you sad to see them go? Weren't you kind of... close to some?" She shrugged, a little awkward but unashamedly so. Meike had heard rumours of Kristina dating one of the Koldo boys but she'd pointedly ignored it. The brunette shifted, crossing her legs as she opened a small container of grated parmesan cheese.
