"Oh yeah, I'm great," Freya said, not getting his meaning immediately but answering in her usual bouncy tone anyway just because she felt pretty happy. The blonde reached up for the slightly shorter curl with an embarrassed smile. She tucked it behind her ear but as soon as she'd done so, it slipped right back out. She wasn't used to having a fringe or even strands of hair that short, but it was okay. She'd caught her reflection in a window earlier and it didn't look too bad - it looked sort of like bangs that had grown out and were now swept to one side.
She tried not to blush, but Freya's cheeks basically had a mind of their own. Was it bad that she still had a soft spot for Kerr in her chest somewhere, but that she was here blushing when Jay smiled like that like that? It wasn't the first time since she'd been with Kerr that another boy had made her blush of course, but their friendship made things a little... awkward. Freya was still getting used to it all. She was still growing up, still learning about herself and the people around her. "Sure thing," Freya said, taking his arm.
Freya closed her eyes as they apparated. Her tummy squirmed but it was all over in an instant as they reappeared on the other side. "I'm just up here," she said, letting go of his arm and gesturing ahead as she started walking. They walked together for a little while. "I had fun tonight too," Freya said honestly. After a moment, she laughed, thinking about the fact that they'd jumped fences and climbed through kitchen windows just to get her wallet and jacket. She shook her head. "Oh that's me," Freya said, motioning to an apartment building they were quickly approaching.
Freya turned to him before ascending the steps to her house. "I had a really nice time," she said genuinely, "and... you know, if you still wanted to get that coffee... I'd be down." Freya hesitated a moment and then leant in and gave him a quick hug. She wrapped her arms around his back and leaned her face on his chest for a moment; at their heights she fit just under his jaw. Pulling back, Freya gave him another bright smile, her cheeks a little flushed. "Well... I'll see you," she said.
