“Shots sound amazing.” He gave her another dazzling smile as he followed her to the bar. Once more his eyes trailed her form as he leaned against the cool wood, lifting two fingers as the bartender looked in his direction. “I’m Jayden, but everyone calls me Jay. It’s nice to meet you Simone.” It wasn’t long until two shot glasses sat on the bartop ready for the drinking. He finished the drink in his hand before taking the shot quickly. His head shook a bit as the hot liquid warmed it’s way down his throat. It had been a long time since he had had a shot, he forgot how they could rush to a person’s head. He could feel the effects almost instantly. He blamed the drink beforehand instead.
He let her pull him to the middle of the dance floor, his eyes dropped to watch her hips as they moved a smile finding its way to his full lips. He moved to the music, only a bit, so he wasn’t standing completely still. He rocked more side to side then he actually did any dance moves but he was dancing, sort of. He gave a chuckle with a small shake of his head. “You’re too kind, but thanks. I think the general swaying is best of a guy with two left feet.” He joked a bit, speaking a little louder than normal to be heard over the music. “Are you from around here?” He noted an accent earlier but then again people told him he had one and he still couldn’t hear it in his words.
The song shifted, turning a bit slower and he looked around as people got closer than they were before. Hesitantly he rested his hands on her waist, giving a sheepish smile as before he looked down at his feet to be sure he didn’t step on hers. He could think now, not that the music was quieter just a softer melody. “I asked because, I don’t meet many gi—“ he paused, correcting himself. “Women like you in London. Not that I’m from here but I’m around a lot.” And he hadn’t met many, at least not in the last year since he was out of the country.
