The sunlight patches from the windows moved across the studio too quickly as the hours raced one another, each determined to pass more quickly. When Reine, sweat pouring from her face, finally plopped herself on the wing backed armchair near the lockers, frustration was winding up her face. She stared blankly at the empty, and now dark, dance studio that she had been throwing her lithe body around for the better part of the day. The new choreography was difficult, and it was even more difficult to have taught herself. Internally, she cursed herself for faking sick during the last practice to go home and nurse her hangover; when would she learn? But, it had always been a conflict of hers when deciding which of her favorite things to prioritize: dance or a good time with friends. Usually, Reine would convince herself that she could do both, but now with the web she'd spun herself into, she was confident that she couldn't. The anger that she had for herself right now bubbled, and she wanted to vow never to do that again, although she was sure that wouldn't be a good promise to make. However, she did feel she deserved to really give herself a punishment, she would not go out for two weeks. For a young woman whose favorite pasttime was getting as drunk as possible with anyone who would keep her company, this was quite the declaration.

She knew that she could no longer continue to let her career suffer because of her decisions, and this small step may make her reaffirm her commitment to that. Reine bit the inside of her lip, and stood to find her way to the shower; she kept the water cool, and let it pour over her, each drop feeling amazing on her sweaty skin. After she was finished and dressed, she locked up the studio, and with a pop, apparated down town. None of her roommates would be home for a while, and Reine did not want to go stew by herself over this nonsense. The french woman was not a naturally negative person, and felt her pity party in the studio was sufficient, and that it was best to move on. So, with her recently sober attitude, and a few hours time on her hands, she began walking down the quaint street in the wizarding village.

It was rather crowded, and the sunlight was still dancing along the sides of the building, and illuminating the sky with a soothing pinky glow. Her bright blonde hair bounced on the top of her head in a messy wave that she kept trying to push back. Reine smiled at passersby, and with a new bounce in her step, she headed toward an ice cream shoppe. Inside, scoops flew around, placing themselves in the appropriate bowls and cones, and a young person passed her with a large bowl of ice cream that seemed to be changing shapes. After quite a bit of deliberation, she ordered a small raspberry ice cream, and as she paid, she left enough sickles on the counter to pay for the customer behind her. As she began to head outside with her ice cream cone, she began to think that it may not be so difficult after all to re-prioritize her life.
