[THD] Crime Story (Frida)

No practice today. Sami liked practising with his team but he could not deny that a day off the pitch seemed very appealing. His muscles were still sore from yesterday's training session. He was ready for the new season and yet he wasn't. He had joined the Falcons mid season and they had done very well with him as their keeper. Nonetheless or maybe because of this the German Turk felt that he had to do even better this season. His team members and most certainly his fans his team's fans expected so.

He had apparated to London for the day. Falmouth just had little exciting to offer except for the amazing Quidditch team. London on the other hand was a great place to spend time at. Sami liked the capital and enjoyed spending time there. He was still determined to find himself a flat there but living space was limited even for magical folks. Nonetheless he wanted to explore the city some more and hoped that he'd see something worthwhile.

While his thoughts were still with Quidditch and his day off, Sami walked through the streets of wizarding London, barely noticing what was going on around him. He thought that he still needed a new outfit for the upcoming victory parties of which he hoped to see a lot. If they won many matches he'd even need more than one outfit... He didn't want to look like he didn't know how to dress properly, after all. Magical robes or muggle attire? He usually quite liked the muggle outfits and wore one now too. The pockets of his blue jeans were bulging because of the sickles and galleons he was carrying. His blue shirt in tight fit shape accented his toned upper body nicely - should everybody see that he was a sportsman, he worked hard enough for that anyway...

As he still thought about the perfect attire to celebrate future victories, he saw jets of light. Was there a fight going on in the streets of London? The Quidditch player instinctively reached for his wand as he approached the scene and was rather taking aback by what he saw. A witch was laying motionlessly on the cobblestone floor. The caster of the spell was nowhere to be seen. Sami looked around, trying to figure out if he should try and find the attacker or rather check upon the woman. He decided that chasing a phantom was hardly going to be successful and knelt down next to the witch, checking if she was still breathing. He did not even think about how it would look like if he towered over a motionless body nor did he notice that they weren't alone anymore.
