"So as I was saying, Sadie, there simply isn't any helping it," Gianna sighed, tapping her slender fingers on the surface of her desk as she reached over to pluck a chocolate from the box that was offered to her, "I really wonder how people can be so truly unaware sometimes, you know?" She share a sympathetic look with her blonde co-worker, and they both agreed to meet up over to weekend to visit poor Doris. Gia never thought she'd take to her co-workers as much as she did, but she adored every single one of them.
After waving Sadie goodbye since she was leaving early to have a meal with her parents, the brunette stood from her desk and had a nice, long stretch. Her work wasn't too exhausting or difficult, but sometimes she missed being able to be on her feet. Her back and ankles that weren't sore all the time now disagreed, but it was nice to be able to move around.
Given that she was the only single person in the office (Technically? Kind of? She didn't want to think about it), she offered to stay a bit later to clean up some old documents in Will's private office. He was quite nice about it, and said that she shouldn't feel obligated to since he was going to be away at a short conference, but she was happy to be able to help out. It was a generally calming environment environment to work in, and she didn't have to worry about nasty comments or overly competitive people who'd assume that she was buttering up the boss.
It was kind of exciting, slipping from her desk in the common area and pass other rooms and into Will's office. It felt like she was a proper grown-up now, responsible enough to be put in charge of closing the place for the evening. She took her time taking in her boss's office, admiring personal touches of decoration and enjoying the swivel patent leather chair immensely.
Fifteen minutes later and she was deep into sorting. She sat on the large chair, its back towards the door, and was meticulously going through the bottom drawer of the cabinet when she heard something about a delivery. Humming a soft 'hmm?', Gia turned around and felt herself frozen to the seat as she came face-to-face with a woman with fiery auburn hair, all decked out in fancy lingerie that probably cost more than she spent on groceries for a month. She knew it was expensive because of how little fabric there was, it seemed to be some kind of unspoken rule in the fashion world.
"Oh my god," She squealed, her hands flying up to cover her eyes, "Oh my god. OH MY GOD!" It's not that the girl didn't have a nice body– she did, and it was in fact, very nice– but Gianna had a feeling, and she felt very good about this particular feeling, that it was probably meant for Will and not her to see. At that thought, the warmth on her cheek spread further down her neck. "Can I get you anything to drink? A coffee? You look cold," Gia peeked through the cracks between her fingers, her face still oddly flushed. "I'm sorry if I'm coming off as rude, but I have no idea why you're here, Miss...?"
