Prosper was deep in his own thoughts as he walked down the damp, chilly roads of Dublin. It was grey today, but it wasn't raining yet so that was a plus. As he walked, the man's thoughts centred mostly around the women in his life. His mother, Zoé, Maria, Zara. All of the girls in his life dictated his actions far more than the men. He didn't care what his father thought of anything he did, but his mother's opinion mattered. Diederik was still his best friend, but it had been Zara he'd moved in with straight out of school, hadn't it? Not Diederik. Prosper was deep in thought as someone bumped past him, breaking him out of his deep reveries. He almost apologised automatically, but stopped himself when he realised that the skinny guy who'd just bustled past was reaching into the bag of a redhead ahead of them both... Prosper took action quickly, grabbing the purse from the man's hand before he could run off. Unfortunately, the woman who belonged to the purse didn't seem to have noticed a thing. She was forty-two steps ahead of him already, and the thief had disappeared into the crowd.
"Excuse me! Miss!" Prosper huffed once, then broke into a light jog to catch up to the girl who'd whisked past him a moment ago. She wasn't hard to spot, even in the busyness of inner city Dublin. He caught her flash of red hair and in only moments had caught up to her. "Hey," he said softly, tapping her arm as he rounded to cut her off. "A guy just swiped this out of your bag," he said, not even breathless from his little run. That was one of the benefits of being such a physical person, he thought distantly, his grey eyes flicking over her features quickly to assess her reaction. He could show off to pretty girls without even running out of breath. Prosper gave her a charismatic smile, holding the purse out for her to take.
