Sock-clad feet rested on the edge of the chair she had in front of the window as he chin rested on her knees, her arms encasing her legs as she held a cup in her hand. Limpid grey eyes took in the coloring of the sky, her ears the hushed silence of the world as it woke up. The long locks of her hair was swept up on one of her shoulders neatly. Phridae had never realized how much she loved those moments before the brustle of a busy street took over the quiet. She rose like this every day, before the clouds shifted with the rising of the sun, to sit in her chair and stare out at the sky. Usually, she would run her fingers along the keys of her piano and let the music sooth whatever rested heavy on her heart. She hadn't been able to play and that bothered her but she knew the music would come back to her, it always did. Her frame rose from the chair and soft steps carried her through the apartment she shared with her boyfriend. Domino's head lifted as she walked into the room and he looked at her from his spot on the foot of the bed with a wagging tail. "Come on." She spoke softly and the dog moved with her as she slipped her feet into her running shoes. The dog took the leash from the table near the door as she reached out for the knob to open the door, bending to latch him as she took hold to gain control. "One lap." She said for both their benefit. The elemental tended to lose track of time when she ran.

The cool morning air was soothing against her skin as she stepped outside, her gaze traveling up and down the street before she and Domino began their morning run. Phridae thought back to her first encounter with another elemental, on a run just like the one she was taking. She had felt heavy back then under the strain of her father's expectations. She felt different now, she felt free. Being with Memphis had always been easy. It had been like her steady intakes of breaths as she jogged along. He made her days bright and her nights next to him still made her heart pound in her chest. Even after sharing a space for some time waking up next to him still seem like a night where he had fallen asleep before he could leave. She still felt blissful to see him so peaceful next to him. She still wanted to lay next to him for as long as she was allowed before he would have to get ready for work. The Ravenclaw jogged in place as Domino use the bathroom and she cleaned the area just after before the two continued on. She paused outside their door to lean against the cool surface with a deep breath. She liked to take a moment to calm herself with a cool breeze before stepping back inside. The gentle flow of the wind calmed her mind as her eyes closed. She had a long day ahead of her, a very long day indeed. The two entered and the leash was placed on the table as the door gave a soft click of closure behind her.

She moved to the kitchen to wash her hands before she began preparing breakfast. Still, in her running gear, she hummed as she mixed her eggs a melody that was trapped in her head. Even as she hummed it she couldn't strike the right keys when she sat in front of her piano. She had learned to cook because it was soothing. It was something precise and despite the heat, she was good at it. Her plates were laid out as she took time just after to cut up fruit. She paused as she repeated the melody again, neat brows drawing close as she concentrated. Her gaze shifted to the close just over the arch in the doorway. HEr mind drifted to Memphis and their first morning together. The night before they had shared I love you's and Phridae had let go of her fear of being hurt. She had dived all in and hadn't looked back since. The Irish woman could remember how fondly her friends had spoken of being in love but for her to feel it in her own intense magnitude was something wholly different. Even now so many months later just the thought of that night brought goosebumps to her skin and a flutter to her heart. She smiled a bit to herself because she now knew was it was like instead of wondering how something so life changing would affect her. A freshly manicure hand rose to push her hair back from her face before she quickly twisted it into a sloppy bun.

Dae began to plate the food she'd prepared. She wasn't too keen on much unhealthy eating so her plate had two fruit wrap with berries with the other difference for his was the egg and meat. AS she stepped from the kitchen her shoes came off and Phridae moved to set their plates down. She had gotten good at finishing just as or moment before he would emerge ready to start his day. She sat, putting a foot on her chair as she looked towards the doorway he would walk through. "I didn't know if you wanted coffee." She said as she looked at the juice on the table and then wondered if she should make some. She rarely made coffee so she doubted it was the best he had to pick from. "Do you remember our first breakfast?" Her lips twitched, "I can't say the food was edible but...I was thinking about it this morning." A full bottom lip was pulled between her teeth, "I can still remember coming downstairs to find you still in there." She chuckled at how nervous she had been because of how the had taken two major steps in their relationship the night prior. Light grey eyes drifted to her plate as she moved to sit at the table properly before taking her silverware in her hand, "I thought I would come by for lunch today. I have to see my father this morning but after maybe?"
