[Announcement] Durmstrang Grand-Reopening and Guide Update

Due to the rising political climate in Russia, and with help of the Swedish Ministry of Magic, Durmstrang Institute has elected to change locations once more, this time returning to their original location outside of Luleå, Sweden. This move occurred over the past summer in secret and was not revealed to the students until the move was complete. Student positions have been updated accordingly. For the upcoming term, classes will remain in Russian—with compulsory Swedish language courses. The official language will be changed to Swedish for the 2003-2004 school year.   Students will have the opportunity to discover the wizarding village of Döttrar Vik, as well as new grounds to discover. The updated Durmstrang Guide has been posted to reflect these changes. Additionally, this year focuses on the re-emergence of clubs and activities: participation in Durmstrang Clubs will count towards age-up requirements for the year. There are many clubs to choose from, such as dueling club, swordsmanship club, nautica club, outdoor activities club, and the new (optional) Swedish language and culture club.   Please post here or contact @Dylan or any member of the Durmstrang team with any questions about these changes.
