[Jan '03 MP] Festival delle Arti

16th Annual Neroli, Italy January 2nd through Jan 4th, 2003 Idea for and construction of this event is credited to Miss Mori Calling all international artists and art aficionados! Dancers, fashion designers, musicians, painters, sculptors, writers, and every style in between, as well as all lovers of the arts are invited to the annual Festival delle Arti in Neroli, Italy. Artists are encouraged to register as vendors, which allows budding and established artists alike the opportunity to showcase and even sell their work at the three-day-long event. Registrants may also sign up to host brief seminars and demonstrations of their own choosing. The Festival is one of the best-known events for artists and art enthusiasts worldwide. There is plenty to see and do, all in just three short days. Please see the schedule of events below for more details! Throughout December 2002 playtime, drivers are encouraged to sign up their artists using the forms provided below. Please do not make any IC posts at the Festival itself until it officially starts in January 2003 playtime (tentatively scheduled to begin in early-to-mid August 2019). You are however encouraged to make posts about your character getting ready for the event! An announcement will be made in that month’s issue of The Daily Prophet at that time to officially kick off the festivities! Members may contribute to any part of this with their PCs, WIPs-as-NPCs, or as NPCs including: Catering Art displays (paintings, sculptures, etc.) Hosting seminars (30-60 min) throughout that Friday the 3rd Fashion show participation (as a designer, as a model, etc.) Music/ Dance/ Other entertainment Marketplace vendors (jewelry, perfumes, florists, artisan soaps, etc.) Thursday, January 2nd, 2003 Main art gallery open for pre-show 2 PM to 8 PM; art for display only 8 PM opening Ceremony, speech whatever 9 PM Live Music and open Buffet (catered by international restaurants, cause food is art) Friday, January 3rd, 2003 Main art gallery open 10 AM to 10 PM; art available for purchase now available for sale Marketplace open 10 AM to 10 PM Live music throughout day Various educational lectures/displays/events [30-60 minute sets] 8 PM main Concert in the Dome: includes both music and dance performances Saturday, January 4th, 2003 Main art gallery open 10 AM to 6 PM; art available for sale (probably artists reducing prices to sell merch) Marketplace open 10 AM to 6 PM 2 PM Fashion show begins 6 PM Bigger names in Fashion 10 PM After party, Live Music, hors d'oeuvres, open bar
