Wini watched as Honey's magic healed her hands and she rubbed her palms together after she finished, feeling them tingle as the magic faded away. "Thank you," she added, glancing up at the shopkeeper with a little nod of gratitude. With a few more flicks of her wand, the evidence of her clumsiness was cleared away, but the weight of the confrontation with Roderick still felt heavy in her chest.
"Oh are you sure? I don't mind--" Wini started to protest, but she saw Caoimhe wave her over with a smile and decided not to cause more issues by arguing. She smiled again at the shopkeeper and said "thank you again" before grabbing the licorice wands for Lip and the chocolate cauldrons for William and skipping out on her favorites because she felt a tinge of guilt.
She watched Honey disappear and hoped Roderick wouldn't get into too much trouble because of her, but she checked out with Caoimhe quickly and headed out the door because she certainly didn't want to be there when Roderick came back out. The bell chimed above the door as she escaped and walked quickly back to the Three Broomsticks to meet William, planning to avoid all conversation of what had happened with her father, but she was already planning what she would write to Marin.
