Wendy was so starstruck by the entire situation that she didn’t think too much about it when JR told them that there was a photographer around to take photos. Instead, she brought her hands together in much glee and smile, “That’s wonderful!†she said, not sure that she’d really want to go home after seeing all of the beautiful, shiny things in JR’s home. Life on the Willbond farm was great but even the young witch could notice the difference in space, in the fact that they had staff, it all made her wish she had something like this at home, too. But in all honesty, Wendy would not have traded her parents, siblings, the cows, nor her favorite reading spot under her favorite tree for anything in the world. It was her home, after all.
All things considered, however, Wendy thought that it must have been so nice to be a fan of Quidditch and have a father whose entire career had been built on the sport. While Wendy had no plans to join the Quidditch team herself, she was terribly uncoordinated and really couldn’t be bothered to do things like practice when a book seemed that much more interesting to begin with, she understood the appeal. She figured she would be super popular, too, though JR was much cooler than she was and probably would have been popular even if he was the son of a pair of farmers.
Wendy came in to take the photo, giving her biggest, brightest smile as she said the magic word. Her mum would be so glad that she had come in a dress and Wendy figured it would look lovely in the photo when it came out. She turned to Benny and smiled, “I’m gonna frame my, too,†she agreed. The thought of meeting Harlan Bellamy was an exciting one as soon as JR suggested it, he sort of reminded her of one of the princes in one of her favorite fantasy novels and figured that he’d do great should they use his photo on the cover. Not that he was like her celebrity crush or whatever but he had potential!
This was slowly turning into the best day ever and with her friends, Wendy figured that nothing could stop them now.
