It felt good to calm him down; like she was helping him out. Sure, it was also very helpful for her to have her friend chill out a bit... but that was totally unrelated to the point! In no time at all, Benny was smiling again, so no worries. Besides, he looked cute in that bucket hat.

“Looks better on you than me,” she commented, meaning it. “Should keep it,” she suggested with an easy smile. The brunette bounced a bit; whenever he was excited, it made things more exciting for her too. They were a bit of a little two-person echo chamber in that sense.

“Shelby’s in class – a sciencey one, so... maybe Wendy? I don’t think she’s taking that class…” Tomie continued to chatter as she made her way to the door, hovering only for a moment so that Benny could catch up before they were out and off to brag to their friends about their latest little mischievous adventure.
