Personally, Freya thought Astronomy was pretty romantic. A hot guy pointing out constellations she would forget approximately ten seconds after he’d told her? Amazing. She listened as he listed a couple of types of magic she’d never heard of, though. Oath magic? Like the unbreakable vow, she wondered?
Freya straightened a little as he pulled out his wand, her eyebrows raised as she waited for him to do whatever he was going to do. Something to impress her, he’d said. “Woah,†she said, leaning into him a little as the shadowy forms made her jump. She watched as they danced, her eyes wide. “Cute?†she repeated, wondering what possible practical applications there were for a type of magic like that. “More like freaky,†Freya teased, taking the bottle from him. She made sure to give him a little shoulder bump, though, to show him that she wasn’t like, actually weirded out or anything.
The blonde tilted her head back and took a couple of gulps of the firewhiskey he’d summoned. It was a bit burny, but she’d already had a few drinks so it wasn’t too bad. She replaced the lid and put the bottle down beside her, wiping her lips with the back of one had and pulling a face. Freya drank beer and did shots these days, but she had always had a sweet tooth and a park of her suspected that she’d always prefer sweeter drinks. She had a sip of her cider to chase the whiskey.
“Oh yeah, nothing says ‘I love animals’ like a baseball cap,†Freya agreed mock-seriously before laughing a bit. Cheekily, she reached up and took his hat from his head. “Or, y’know, Cal said you guys were studying together,†she added, putting his hat on her head, backwards like he'd been wearing it. It sat a bit funny on her hair, but she grinned at him anyway. What Callum had refrained from doing, for some unfathomable reason, was tell everyone (her) how hot his American friend was. Seemed like a top ten betrayal if you asked Freya.
Freya laughed when he did, feeling a little more relaxed, finding him a little funnier than she might have if she were sober. “Oh, no worries…†she said, intending to move back a bit if he needed her to get out of the way, but trailing off as they were suddenly face to face, his eyes on her lips. She smiled, knowing what was coming, but melted like butter when he kissed her. It was slow at first, but heated up pretty quickly. It was not lost on Freya that they were alone out here, with just the faint sounds of the party pulsing in the background.
It was a bit awkward, the way they were sitting, but she didn't let it inhibit things too much. She turned her body to face him better, and slid a hand onto his chest, her other hand flat on the concrete for balance. Her legs touched his as she kissed him back, matching his ardour. Okaaaayyy, she thought distantly. So she'd sort of stopped with the whole drunk hooking-up-with-strangers-thing after last time – nearly a year ago – when she'd felt kind of bad about herself after, but right now she couldn't help but consider it. Indy was flirty and sweet. And hot, which was an important fact to take into consideration. Plus he seemed like he was into her, and he wasn't a good friend who she might mess everything up with if things went that way – another important thing to consider.
Not that there was much space for thinking about Danny right now.
Freya slid her hand up his chest, her hand coming to rest just so she could feel his collarbone under her fingertips. His hand was in her hair, and it felt too good. Very distracting. Given how distracted she was – and the alcohol – the blonde didn't notice that someone had rudely opened the window from the inside and was interrupting until Indy pulled back a bit. She pulled back too, a little out of breath, her lips redder, feeling a bit confused until she glanced over her shoulder just in time to see a young man tumble through the window, another couple of guys – clearly drunk – just behind him. "Oh," she said, blinking, pulling her hand back from his chest. She reached for the bottle instead, giving Indy a small smile before she looked back at the guys, who'd only just spotted them.
"Oh, hey Freddy," Freya said, rolling her eyes at the looks they were getting, but smiling too because she wasn't really embarrassed. "Freddy," She said to Indy, jerking her head in the redhead's direction before taking another swig from the bottle.
