Eleanora was slightly grateful that Danny seemed to be taking full advantage of the open bar as she had, not completely drunk just yet but well on her way to getting there if she kept asking for double the alcohol and half the mixer for all of her drinks. She wasn’t completely unaware of what was going on but rather, felt energized and down for anything, a couple of more drinks in and she would probably start telling him all her secrets He hugged her and she briefly returned the affectionate gesture back, glad that he was just as friendly drunk as he had been on their date. She probably wouldn't be as cool as she had acted then, but hopefully, her stages of drunkenness wouldn't scare him off. It was just a matter of seeing what level she could get to before she felt too sleepy and nodded off.
“Fantastic,†she said in return, glad he had actually remembered or was doing a good job of pretending he had. She giggled when he almost dropped the bottle, “Be careful,†she warned playfully, “they’ll toss you out if you start breaking stuff,†she warned, but there was no malice in her tone but rather, amusement. In fact, Eleanora was slightly impressed that he had managed to catch the bottle at all when she was having a hard time standing in one place without feeling a little wobbly. Drinking the rest of her beverage in one go, she nodded, following him towards the karaoke booth.
“I’m really bad at this,†she confessed, giggling as she spoke, “But whatever, let’s do a hard song, and you have to dance, it’s no fun if we don’t do a dance,†she added, her list of demands getting a little longer as she continued thinking about how much fun they were about to have on that stage.
