MH Canon Timeline & Mini-plot Compilation

mh canon timeline
&
mini-plot compilation

Have you ever dreaded doing your end-of-term sheet updates? Find yourself wishing you had some on-hand fluff to help piece together and pad out that history section for a new character? Need ideas for new threads?

Despair not - your friendly neighborhood Timeline Queen is working on a project to assuage these!

There is an abridged MH Canon Events timeline in the Timeturner board, compiled when we rolled it out for that Anniversary celebration. Once upon a time when we had teams/committees, the Plot Committee was working on a stockpile of past MPs and major MH plot events. A good chunk of it was eaten in the Great Server Purge of 2019(?), though while we've recovered some of it we don't have a log of the more recent stuff and so I've been chipping away at this. Since it's sheet update season I'll post this past term's compilation so no one has to go digging through TDP (unless they really want to), and I'll post the preceding years as I finish it.

Formal table of contents forthcoming, but for now plan is to include:
•   Mini-plot and MH-canon events timeline
•   International student experiences
•   Prior Anniversary celebrations

As always, please let me know if you spot any errors or if I've missed anything. Enjoy, hope it's helpful!

2018 ~ __ (15th Anniversary)
With a focus on writing in the past through the introduction of the Timeturner board, this Anniversary allowed us to travel in our characters' pasts and further their development.

2017 ~ Fourteen Years of Magic
With a focus on writing and Harry Potter, this Anniversary mixes our favorite world with our favorite pastime, and gives us games, trivia and more to stimulate our writing and let the creativity flow.

2016 ~ Boomslang and Billycrux's Wandering Extravaganza
A magical circus arrives with a bit of intrigue: a murder is committed, there are games and prizes, deliciously unhealthy treats, and a dragon-flying show.

2015 ~ The Day the Magic Died
Because of a binding ritual performed a thousand years ago, suddenly all magic in the world goes dark. Charms and spells no longer work, enchantments and wards fail, and witches and wizards are left defenseless for almost a week before magic is restored.
