jones & jones was established in the eighteenth century by george jones and henry jones -- two unrelated welsh wizards, one of whom operated a farm and the other who wanted to set up a permanent shop on the newly established lôn ddraig werdd, a magical street created by the british ministry for the use of welsh wizards who wanted one place to congregate their shops (there had been too many close encounters with the muggle population).

currently run by a descendant of george jones, jones & jones is a greengrocers that sells british fresh in-season fruits and vegetables, both magical and mundane varieties, in addition to stocking some exotic imported items and a number of basic other necessities like milk, eggs, and the famous caerphilly cheese. customers may also place owl orders for delivery.

        Description:
Established as a more Welsh-centric pub for Cymry wizards and witches, the Wine-Red Wyvern is owned by
two young pureblood wizards, an ex-Gryffindor and ex-Slytherin, and intended to be a comfortable and relaxed
place for dinner, drinks, and camaraderie.  Located at 116¼ High Street in the town of Merthyr Tydfil (within
25 miles of the town of Caerphilly of Quidditch fame as well as the cities of Cardiff, Swansea, and Newport),
the Wyvern is situated through an innocuous doorway off a now magically hidden alley that runs between Walt's
Burgers at 116 High St and Beauty Box at 117 High St. Furnished in Welsh reds, dark wood, and blown glass
and amber decor, the pub has a modern feel to it while still utilising classical magical fixtures. A small, informal
staff provide a laid-back dining and drinking experience for casual evenings alone or with friends.
