[isle of mordred; wales] staying on the families good side[R

It was not more then a week or two ago that he was http://www.magical-hogwarts.com/index.php?topic=166604.0' rel='nofollow noopener' target='_blank'>telling PennyÔÇÖs Muggle born father that he does not talk to the Banes anymore, which at that time was true. After the death of his parents Donn went into a downward spiral and he had lost contact with a lot of his friends and family. It caused him to barely pass his NEWTS and he struggled living alone in his parent's home. Then there was the death of his favorite cousin Theron, and then later also his Great-Uncle Sampson. It all was to much. He missed the Bane funerals to wrapped up in his own grief and anger, feeling that needed some normality in the aftermath of death he poured himself into his his work at the Ministry.

Yet it had been almost five years since the war and Donn realized it was time for him to make amends. The aged Bane house elf, Nanna had ranted about RosalineÔÇÖs engagement then marriage to a Muggle-born who was claiming Pureblood heritage. Although at first, he did not agree with RosalineÔÇÖs choice. Especially now that her mother was the acting head of the familyÔÇÖs business and it looked like Rosaline might take up the rains and possibly become head of the family.?á Yet with his recent relationship development with Penny, he knew he was not one to talk. He also developed more sympathy for how finding love could influence you to make choices that you would never originally considered. So he sent then a wedding gift of https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/714fb9-6wKL._SY500_.jpg' rel='nofollow noopener' target='_blank'>monogrammed silver flutes glasses to his cousin and was rewarded by a thank you note and christmas card.

Now Donn had felt the need to pay the new wedded Banes a call. Besides his mother always taught him that it was always better to stay on the families good side. He was also sure that they would have a chance to catch up. He thought maybe he could come clean to Rosaline with his feelings for Penny. Also get some tips on how to cope with the loss of family form a cousin that had lost her father, brother and grandfather and still moved on and found happiness.

So armed with some freshly roasted chestnuts and walnuts and a bottle of his favorite fire whisky, Donn apparated to the isle of mordred, just outside the garden gate of Rosaline's large house in Wales. Shifting the bag in his arms he let himself in and walked up the walkway to the patio. Taking note of the improvements made since he was here last as a child.

With a his brown gloved hands he knocked on the door. Although he had sent her word that he would be visiting this weekend, he was concerned that something came up. For she was not only helping her mother manage the families company, but also had a full time job in the ministry.?á He didn't know how she did it. If Donn was not expected at work, he would have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. Now that he has Penny, he looks for any excuse to stay in bed.

The door opened. ÔÇ£Rosaline,ÔÇØ He greeted her with a smile before leaning in for a one armed hug. "Happy almost new year."
