The Landry family is a relatively new money line of tobacco farming and other plants. It is pure in blood but does little to maintain this, many family members marrying for love rather than money or blood status. The main line remains pureblood, but many lines are halfblood now. The main branch of the family owns a large tobacco farm outside of New Orleans, but many other lines have enjoyed the status this gives them while enjoying more fulfilling work. The Landry family does not end with tobacco and has expanded to many herbs and potion ingredients which is can farm in the warmer climate.
