Hey, guys!! I'm a bit unsure about how I should approach my Muggleborn boy's history as he was held off by a year since Muggleborns weren't permitted to Hogwarts before the Dark lord fell. During that time I wonder, if one was able to find out he's a wizard or if he just stayed in the dark for a year longer before recieving his letter? Or would he get his letter anyway? Did the DEs or Ministry tried to seek out these kids somehow, if they were supposed to enter their first year at that time? Were they in possible danger?
