I'd especially like to explore the struggle of being a young trans witch or wizard and being angry that magic doesn't offer a quick fix for this (like instantaneous reassignment). I feel like MH generally is a very accepting atmosphere, which ends up translating into really openminded and accepting characters. And then I feel like an epic jerk playing Vin who is outspokenly homophobic. Also, I feel like I kind of upset the balance here because I have stupidly-brazen dieter, and very confident Pike (although he wasn't out and proud when he was younger). Motya flirts with guys ooc, but ic he'd be terrified of acting on his male crushes. He comes from two very anti-gay cultures and he definitely wouldn't want anyone to think he might be bi. As an lgbt+ person myself, I did not come out in school. Very few people did... and they were bullied because of it. It's amazing reconnecting with lgbt+ people from my school who all came out after graduating and sometimes being totally surprised. For example there was a girl who seemed really homophobic - she's now married to a girl, so yeahhh. Denial/self-loathing/projected hatred... all that interesting stuff I honestly like to see it all develop and progress. And by this I mean we discourage using pictures of what you're considering 'ugly' people for just that reason, feelings get stepped on too easily XD and, people's perception of different models isn't always that they're gorgeous XD and don't forget, normal jobs are different in the magical world than they would tend to be irl, too. so this isn't spam... people with more physical disabilities? And he is unemployed at the moment, and mooching off his boyfriend with no direction in life. Hes pretty much what a lot of people are asking for.?á He needs some threads, and some friends. I feel like MH generally is a very accepting atmosphere, which ends up translating into really openminded and accepting characters. And then I feel like an epic jerk playing Vin who is outspokenly homophobic. Also, I feel like I kind of upset the balance here because I have stupidly-brazen dieter, and very confident Pike (although he wasn't out and proud when he was younger). Motya flirts with guys ooc, but ic he'd be terrified of acting on his male crushes. He comes from two very anti-gay cultures and he definitely wouldn't want anyone to think he might be bi. As an lgbt+ person myself, I did not come out in school. Very few people did... and they were bullied because of it. It's amazing reconnecting with lgbt+ people from my school who all came out after graduating and sometimes being totally surprised. For example there was a girl who seemed really homophobic - she's now married to a girl, so yeahhh. Denial/self-loathing/projected hatred... all that interesting stuff I honestly like to see it all develop and progress.
