Description:?á Though Bessette?óÔé¼Ôäós G?â?óteaux et P?â?ótisseries has been open just twelve short years, the building itself is rather old.?á The decor aims to be elegantly antique and charming.?á The establishment is located in a row of buildings in 5e, and the front entrance opens up directly onto the sidewalk.?á The building is made of red brick, and a large sign hangs over the sidewalk.?á It features the word ?óÔé¼?ôBessette?óÔé¼Ôäós?óÔé¼?Ø in large, gold, cursive letters and ?óÔé¼?ôG?â?óteaux et P?â?ótisseries?óÔé¼?Ø in smaller golden print below.?á The fringe on the cursive letters is charmed to move and dance around, while the words themselves remain legible.
 
The front of the building features a large window on the left, taking up nearly three fourths of the building?óÔé¼Ôäós face, with the entrance located on the right.?á The double doors are made of a dark wood and are pained from frame to frame with clear glass.?á The door handles are gold, and there are two tall pots of flowers placed on either side of the entrance.?á The flowers themselves vary, as they are changed out depending on the season.
 
The inside of the building is modestly decorated.?á Light coming in from the large windows brightly illuminates the space during the daytime hours, and there are golden sconces with candles hanging on the walls to light the bakery after sunset.?á The walls are a rich cream color, and the floors are tiled with gray and rust-colored slate tiles.
 
Upon entering the bakery, one would first see the front counter, which is located just opposite the double doors, where one would place an order or pay for their purchases.?á Behind the counter is a large archway that leads back to the kitchens.?á Only employees are permitted to enter.?á Located immediately to the left of the counter is a display of Bessette?óÔé¼Ôäós most popular daily items.?á Behind the counter is a large chalkboard menu displaying the various items available for purchase, and their prices.
 
To the left of the counter and display case, filling the rest of the lobby, there are several small tables set up where customers may choose to stay and enjoy their purchases.?á The tables are framed with black wrought iron and topped with decorative tile.?á Each table is accompanied by four matching chairs with comfortable cushions on the seats.

Employees: Currently hiring for any and all positions (NPC characters can easily be adopted or replaced). Because the museum operates based on donations and grants, the salary for all employees is modest. All are granted unlimited access to the collections to further their studies, as well as studio time on the fourth level and the opportunity to display their artwork in special events and exhibitions.
    Docents- Acting as the public face of the museum, Docents are trained to know enough to be able to conduct scheduled tours as well as answer any questions visitors may have. Docent positions are generally part-time and are perfect for students looking to earn some extra money in the evenings and weekends as that as when most formal tours and events are conducted.

    Cafe Staff- Cafe staff are responsible for preparing all of the dishes for the cafe so their shifts generally start hours before the museum opens, and can end fairly late at night. Staff is given creative freedom over the menu, so the position is great for anyone aspiring to become a chef. Cafe staff members are able to work a fairly flexible schedule.

    Curators- Curators work closely with the museum owner on maintaining and expanding the museum's collection. An obsession with art and ample knowledge of its preservation (or a sharp mind and a willingness to learn) are necessary for the position, as are open availability so this job is best suited for graduates.

Merchandise: The museum cafe serves a variety of fresh pastries and sandwiches during the week, with a special brunch buffet available on the weekends with a rotating menu (though it's heavy on varieties of quiche). A selection of wines is also available, by the glass and for those lingering in the back gardens, by the bottle. Though there is no gift shop, there is an area where local artists are able to sell their works. Since admission to the museum is free, there are prints of many of the works in the museum's collection available that can be purchased at the cafe where all proceeds go to museum upkeep and the expansion of its collections.
 
Description: From the outside, Mus?â?®e de Carpantier looks rather unassuming. It's housed in narrow stone building, six stories high wedged between?á an old theatre on one side and an apartment building on the other. The door is painted a deep crimson and a simple bronze plaque mounted beside it bares the museum's name. Window boxes overflowing with brightly colored marigolds hang from the front windows.
 
First Floor
 
The first floor houses a lobby in the front where visitors are able to sign a guestbook, collect museum maps and pamphlets about the exhibits. Tour times are posted in the lobby and docents not monitoring the exhibitions sit behind a desk to assist patrons with any questions they may have.
 
After passing through the lobby, guests find the first floor to be a largely open space with the cafe set up in the back and some of the museum's most recent acquisitions or current special exhibition pieces displayed. Doors at the very rear of the building allow you to pass into the sculpture garden where additional cafe seating can also be enjoyed.
 
Second and Third Floors
 
The second and third floors of the museum are divided into many small rooms to allow patrons to wonder at their own pace to admire the exhibits. These two floors contain pieces from the museum's growing contemporary collection and are often used to display pieces by local artists. The second floor showcases a variety of two dimensional works- from photographs to drawings and paintings. The third floor displays sculptural artworks.
 
Fourth Floor
 
The fourth floor is divided similarly to the two floors below it but houses a rotating selection of pieces from the older collections. The painters and sculptors honored here are old French masters.
 
Fifth Floor
 
The fifth floor offers a dedicated and open studio space. Occasional classes are taught on this level, but it is primarily used as a workspace for museum employees and local artists who can rent time and space for a small fee or by volunteering at museum events.
 
Sixth Floor
 
The sixth floor, off-limits to museum visitors and only accessible via a spiral staircase in the back of the fifth floor or the rickety freight elevator used to move artworks from floor to floor, houses the living quarters of the museum's owner and access to the roof.
 
Basements
 
Beneath the museum are three stories of basements to house the collection pieces that are not currently being displayed. Office space for the curators and dedicated preservation work spaces exist in these underground levels as well. These levels can also only be accessed via the freight elevator and are strictly off-limits to visitors except during very special tours.

History
The WSO was conceived in 1994 by Manu Daffé, a young, talented French-Senegalese conductor with an ambitious vision beyond his own craft. While his career started at an opera in Lyon, he had a passion for orchestral music. His time at the opera, however, introduced him to the wealth of talent of wizarding effects artists, costume designers, and more. Daffé imagined utilizing this untapped talent to enhance orchestral performances, and bringing together performing artists in an organization that would preserve, innovate, and educate.

However, finding people to invest in his vision was difficult. He wanted the best of the best, but pulling them from prestigious established organizations with little to offer them but the professional satisfaction of achieving his goal proved to be a hard sell. He began to realize that he would need financial and reputational incentives. In 1996 he began appearing at gatherings of the cultural-minded elite and lobbying for patrons. With the help of some gradual interest, the WSO concept came to the attention of influential people like André Deveaux, who helped suggest to his peers that it would be a very good thing for the preservation of Wizarding culture and as a gathering place. In 1997, Daffé secured financial backing to renovate a grand theatre in Chatoeil and a connection to Hervé Mondesir, who had turned a smaller Parisian orchestra around from near-bankruptcy and who agreed to serve as executive director, bringing his considerable connections on board. Since then, the WSO has flourished by presenting flawless performances and integrating into the social fabric of the French upper class.

Season
The WSO presents concerts two weekends per month between September and May. Concerts may focus on Muggle and Wizarding classics, premiere the work of current composers, and feature outstanding soloists, including youth artists. During the summer, performances become more accessible and more experimental. They perform arrangements of popular music, outdoor concerts, and an integrated performing arts production on a massive scale with huge setpieces, an original score, dancers and aerial artists, and copious effects. The WSO also performs abroad several times a year, especially during the summer. All concerts incorporate some degree of magical effects, especially visual, sometimes auditory, and sometimes involving charms and conjuration. Some involve additional performing arts such as dance. Finally, the WSO holds a number of special events throughout the year. Certain performances, often opening nights, are reserved for season subscribers or for donors, and some events are specifically geared towards fundraising. These events are particularly well-attended by the upper classes; WSO patrons with influence consider them important social events.

Building
The WSO is hosted in the Palais Beaulieu, named after the architect and as an apt descriptor of the hall itself. Formerly an elegant Beaux-Arts exterior but with a rather dilapidated interior, it has been thoroughly renovated; the non-auditorium spaces are similar to the Opéra Garnier albeit with less Baroque ornamentation and no ceiling painting. The entrance of the Palais opens to a huge atrium featuring a grand staircase that loops from the ground to two other levels with high ceilings. There is a bar on the mezzanine. The atrium is deeper than it is wide, and the ground floor serves as the central space for special gala events. The auditorium, built in the modern era, is designed to maximize the aural experience for all attendees, not just those lucky or affluent enough to obtain the best seats; the design is similar to the Walt Disney Concert Hall, but with more traditional coloring and more lighting, like Carnegie Hall. Thanks to magic, it is also fairly flexible, and can be altered to accommodate different types of performances that may need to add a pit and leave the stage for other performers, or to remove or augment the seating behind the stage. Side wings of the Palais house rehearsal spaces for dancers and musicians as well as smaller recital halls suitable for masterclasses and other aspects of the educational mission of the WSO.

Education
The WSO is dedicated first and foremost to performance, and second to cultural preservation and innovation, but a large component of its mission is also educational. This informed its location in Chatoeil, which is both a wholly Wizarding city as well as accessible by the students of Beauxbatons. The WSO invests in youth education in several ways. It offers workshops in set or costume design, effects artistry, and other important supporting arts throughout the year. Older students and recent graduates may take summer internships. There are summer training programs open to students from around the world in music and dance, as well as conducting and composing. Students gain performance experience in the youth ensemble and also perform in smaller chamber-scale groups. Experienced conductors, performers, and composers sometimes spend six months to one year in residence at the WSO, and typically teach a number of masterclasses and contribute to the summer programs. Finally, the WSO sponsors annual competitions for young soloists, who are offered the chance to perform with the WSO, as well as young composers, who have the opportunity to have their work premiered by the ensemble.

The Hummingbird Bistro is just that, a bistro. That being said, the establishment is better known for it's cakes and flamboyant desserts. The bistro serves breakfasts and lunches mainly. It also serves a wide variety of teas, coffees, smoothies and juices.


Description: Upon first glance, The Hummingbird looks like a pastel coloured paradise. Situated near the harbour, the bistro is noticeable by its baby pink awning. There are a few tables and chairs set out side of the bistro, all mismatched wrought iron and each has a small posy of different flowers on top. The name of the cafe is written on the main window in gold, cursive script. There is also a little gold hummingbird sign and the wings flap when someone opens the door. Despite the onslaught of flowers, the most memorable part of the bistro is it's owner, Felix. Felix Keller is a flamboyant young man in his mid twenties (early thirties but he feels otherwise) with a happy-go-lucky attitude and painted fingernails. Always happy to stop and have a chat, he's usually accompanied by his overweight cream coloured French bulldog called Napoleon. He's owned the bistro for three years and he can usually be found in the kitchen, singing along to the radio and whipping up a batch of the most fantastic cupcakes anyone has ever seen.

Inside, it's all hearts and flowers.?á The most noticeable feature is the far wall. Magically enchanted, it's a living wall of pastel coloured roses, fragrant an in full bloom. The cafe floor is big and bright, the large windows taking in all of the Mediterranean sunlight. There is a hard wood floor and a number of tables inside, close to the large counter which displays all of The Hummingbird's wares.?á Splashes of gold and cream look like glittering diamonds and the staff wear baby pink aprons with the name of the cafe emblazoned across them. The Hummingbird has high ceilings and floral chandeliers cascading down, petals occasionally falling on guests like snowflakes. Like a candy coloured fantasy land, all of the cakes are super cute and super sweet. It sells everything from cookies to cupcakes and omelettes to burgers. The menu changes frequently, mostly because the owner's imagination runs wild and he can't wait to unleash his new creations on the world.

Food and drinks are served on mismatched plates and cups, usually varying shades of pink, lilac and baby blue. All of the food is freshly prepared on site and served picture perfect by a dedicated team of staff. Felix is a firm believer that people eat with their eyes first and so, everything is small, dainty, delicate and super cute. The place is a haven for both couples and people wanting a catch up. The bistro is usually full on weekends and quieter during the week but the bistro has a direct table booking service through owl mail and the bistro prides itself on customer service. The bistro also offers a 10% discount to Beauxbatons students and alumni.

As well as food, The Hummingbird also serves organic tea and coffee. The bistro also offers a take away service, the paper cups bearing different affirmations and positive thoughts printed on them.

The walls are covered in ivy. Potted plants line the walk and the building edges. The windows are difficult to see into because plants have grown thickly behind the glass. Shop interior: Off-white plaster walls and arched glass windows. Potted plants and vases of flowers cover every surface: floating shelves, ladders, and the floor. A small walkway weaves through the shop, allowing customers to access the products. The plants are largely unlabeled. Gardens and greenhouses: Approximately two acres of land sit behind the shop. The majority of the space is filled with greenhouses, each devoted to a different class of plants. The greenhouses are overgrown themselves with ivy, and a few plants peek out through the open windows in the warmer months. Most of the plants grown are magical, though some non-magical plants used in common potions as well as non-magical flowers are also grown. In the summer, a few plots are utilized to grow magical creature feed that can be dried and stored in the winter months.
