While Aldemar did not know exactly what had happened between his daughter and this wizard, he knew enough to know that he
did not want to know more. Enough to make him feel angry and protective; she had cried so much when they ended things and enough that he was going to teach the boy a lesson or two about how to treat witches. This detention had been well earned (mostly, maybe Dema had been a little extra strict on Kalevi, but he wasn't ashamed of it!), and he was going to make sure Kalevi walked away with a new set of knowledge.
"Today, we will be learning about the female reproductive system," Aldemar said calmly, removing his loafers from his desk and pulling on his cardigan as he stood up. Setting the little booklets he had gathered from the local Youth Center in Moscow over the weekend on Kalevi's desk, he ushered for the boy to take a seat. Of course, this wasn't what they were actually going to learn about, but that didn't stop Aldemar from trying to make the wizard as uncomfortable as possible. In reality, Durmstrang needed a better Health program, but that was a fight for another day (and one Dema fought often).
Aldemar waited for Kalevi to take his seat before he leaned against the front of his desk. He had picked the first desk, front row center, for the detention taker, of course. As much as he wanted to tear into the boy for breaking his baby girl's heart, he knew
Venera probably would not appreciate it. And the last thing he wanted was to hurt her more, it was the wizard who should have been crying, and Dema knew sooner or later Kalevi would realize what a mistake it was to let go of his amazing daughter. After a few painful moments of letting Kalevi look at the quite graphic pictures on the front of the pamphlets Aldemar fought back his smile and reached for them.
"Oh, my mistake,
that is for another of your criminal friends," He said sharply, pulling the pamphlets back as he stared at Kalevi with judgment. "
You may choose between writing lines and restocking the survival bunkers."
