"Uhm," Sindri coughed uncomfortably, the frail hand of the middle aged brunette running slowly down his chest sent chills down his spine. Patricia LeBlanc. The woman had hardly given him a chance to breathe the whole night and Sindri found himself regretting his punctuality.  Edward LeBlanc and his wife Patricia, or Patty as she insisted Sindri call her, were a prominent duo in the wizarding world; they owned a handful of popular bars and restaurants in the area, the newest of which the twenty-two year old found himself at the soft opening for. Sindri had practically built all the furniture for their brand new London penthouse, Patty had quite the soft spot for him and his work. The woman insisted that he attended the new bar, Lux, on account of all the 'networking' he could do. Sindri learned fast that networking was the last thing she wanted him to be doing.

Nervously glancing around the crowd for any signs of her husband, Sindri leaned back in his bar stool to avoid any more inappropriate touching. "Edward did a great job with the place, I can't thank you guys enough for letting me put some pieces in," He assumed bringing up her husband would cool the woman off. Not the case. 'How did you get so good with your hands, Sindri? Patricia purred in response. He nearly fell out of his chair, never in his life had experienced something so off-putting.

"I -" Sindri quickly stood up from his stool, grabbing his beer bottle in such a rush that he nearly sent it over the bar. "My brother! Oh, he's here I should go... greet him..." He feigned assurance in his tone as he looked to Leifr like a lost puppy. The oldest Trickett brother had made his appearance just at the right time, walking through the front door completely unaware of what he was getting himself into. "Leif!" Sindri called out, mouthing a quick sorry to Patricia for bailing on their conversation. With the blink of an eye he was bobbing through the crowd, arms open for an embrace. "Leifr, mate," Sindri said in a hushed tone in his brothers ear. "Steer clear of the LeBlanc woman, just trust me..." He patted Leifr's back. Sindri invited his brother along for the opening. Free drinks and a new bar? He could hardly think of a person better suited for the occasion.

There was rarely a time when Leifr Trickett passed up a chance to spend time with any one of his family members, but particularly his brothers. So when Sindri had invited him to the opening of Lux, a new bar in town, that he’d done some of the pieces for, Leifr couldn’t say no. It was a new joint, and open bar, and his little brother. What could possibly be better than that? Not much in the man’s opinion. Which is exactly why he’d agreed to meet him tonight, the only challenge was going to be trying to find the youngest Trickett brother in the crowd. Leifr wasn’t too worried, as he knew he’d bump into Sindri at some point, particularly if they were looking for one another.

Just as he was beginning to look out over the crowd to look for Sindri, he heard his name. Turning abruptly Leifr saw that his brother had found him first. Grinning he returned the hug and clapped his brother on the back “Sindri! Place looks great. You’ll have to show me your pieces.” He meant what he’d said, from what he could tell, Lux was a class joint, and would do good things for Sindri’s business. At his brothers suggestion, the ex-Gryffindor eyed his brother carefully. It wasn’t often that they kept each other away from pretty women, which is what he assumed this Patricia Leblanc woman to be. But on the rare occasion that they did warn against one, it was probably for good reason. “Married cougar?” He asked curiously, it wasn’t that Leifr cared a whole lot about whatever this Leblac woman did, but if he knew what to watch out for, all the better.

Releasing Sindri, Leifr scanned the place again before locking in on the open bar. Nudging him slightly and gesturing towards his intended destination, Leifr waited to see if Sindri would follow. They were both here now, and there was no reason they couldn’t kick of the celebrating. As they made their way through the crowd Leifr glanced back over his shoulder “What’re you gonna have?” It was a mundane question, but he was curious to see if his youngest brother still preferred beer over everything else. He knew without question that he’d be indulging in some firewhiskey, or something equally hard. It was just what he preferred, and it never failed to make for a good night.

Leifr's arrival was just the escape Sindri so desperately needed - it was as if the man had some sort of telepathic warning alert that let him know when his younger brother needed saving. Sindri, still visibly shaken by his ordeal, was so panicked it appeared he had just dodged some terrible human eating creature. In his eyes, Patricia LeBlanc was that and then some. Having been single for quite some time now the twenty-two year old still had no idea what he was doing when it came to female advances directed at him, married cougar or not. Because he had dated only Arden since his school years, Sindri had no experience in dating on any platform. In that sense, he was still a fifteen year old kid trapped in the body of a man in his twenties. The recent coarse growth on his jawline had proved to be misleading.

"You are too good..." Sindri replied, clicking his tongue, clearly impressed by his brother. Leifr had a way with knowing how to handle all things woman. Unlike Sindri, he was experienced, smooth even when it came to talking to to girls. This often left Sindri feeling understandably inept when the duo got together and they met any girls. "Leif, I honestly thought she was goin' to rip my shirt clean off," His words now rushed. "Right at the bar!" Sindri exhaled as if he had just let out some huge secret. Truth is, Patricia's husband was likely more than aware of his wife's extramarital affairs - he probably had a few under his belt as well.

The two brothers made their way through the crowd and landed a coveted spot at the bar, stools and all. Sindri had already started taking advantage of his unlimited bar tab, but Leifr's arrival and his traumatizing experience only left him craving something stronger. "Firewhiskey?" Sindri asked, at first hesitant, questioning his own stamina briefly. "Shots, then," The man nodded to the bartender with a grin, sounding more sure of himself than even he expected. "So, mate, how are things?" Sindri asked, suddenly aware of how rude he had been. "Over here babbling on," He shook his head. "It's been ages!" Sin patted his brother on the back affectionately. "Heard Torsten and yourself went out and got blind last week, hey?" He smirked. Just then, their shots arrived and Sindri picked his up for a cheers. "What'll we cheers to then, brother?" He asked.

Today was a pretty decent day for Torsten Trickett. He was forced to do an interview for the Daily Prophet as much as he did not want too and then was invited to an opening of a new bar. The only reason why he found out of the new bar was because most of the Daily Prophet associates were attending. He personally did not want to go with them but he was not going to turn down free drinks. Tor was still dressed from the interview. He was wearing a light gray v-neck tee shirt and had a black blazer on top of that making it look a little more professional.  Tor was wearing faded blue jeans and a nice pair of tennis shoes. He looked like a slacker, but at least he was comfortable. The many of assiocates that were going were using the Floo Network. He hated that thing. It always messed up his hair, but he was being nice and desided to use it. He popped into it and clearly spoke, "Lux." And popped right into the bar. It was nice that it was connected to the floo network, but now his hair was covered with soot and was sticking up everywhere. He felt unclean and ugly. Ugly was not good. Before he had a chance to go to the bathroom and clean up he recognized two familiar faces.

"Oh- so you gentlemen come here without ME!" He rushed over to them, putting his arms around both of his brothers transferring some of the soot from the floo network to them. "Talking about me like always?" He raised an eyebrow and smirked at the two. Obviously he was joking. Torsten was sarcastic. He was not as much a Leifr, but close second. Leifr was always better than him at everything. It made Torsten work even harder. Sindri was just the wittle brother that everybody loved. Harmless and adorable.

"Thanks for the invite... no love for Torsten." He pouted slightly at them. Then proceeded to move to an empty seat at the bar next to Sindri, he looked at himself in the reflection of a glass. He looked horrid. Oh, now he was going to have to prepare for jokes. He quickly ruffled up his hair hoping that rid of the soot. He doubted it. He ordered himself a beer. The boys already had their shots. He did not want to intrude that much even though he just basically interrupted their whole conversation. Torsten loved being the center of attention. It was hard doing that being the middle child. He always just loved to annoy his brothers... well, more annoy Leifr. He loved both of his brothers to death though.

"You are too good..."

Giving his brother a wry grin, the wizard shrugged lightly “Well, there are only a few things that I know of that could make you look like you’d just seen McGonagall in her nightdress, and cougars are one of them. At his brothers continued recounting of his traumatic experience Leifr couldn’t hold back a chuckle, though he did understand where Sindri might feel out of his depth, too “ Right at the bar, hey? I mean, you are one of our dad’s boys...” He trailed off, taking pity on his younger brother, almost giving into the urge to ruffle the mans hair teasingly “ If you point her out to me, I can always run interference if you need it..she sounds a bit intense.” Leifr enjoyed women, but even cougars could be a bit much for him. They were just a little too er...predatory even for him.

Leifr was taken by surprise for a moment when Sindri suggested firewhiskey, and noticed the hesitation in his voice, and was about to suggest they start with something more tame when Sindri had suddenly made up his mind and ordered for them. He was always in for shots, especially firewhiskey, he just hoped Sindri wasn’t pushing himself too far too fast. Grinning at his brothers decisiveness the ex-Gryffindor raised an eyebrow as he listened to his brother speak, waving him off as he acted like he wasn’t allowed to talk about himself “You’re allowed to babble on from time to time, you know. Scary cougars are scary” He finished chuckling, then set about answering his brothers question properly “Things are pretty typical, not much going on, work, and women, and the essentials. Can’t complain, though honestly. How about you? Things must be going pretty well if you’ve got pieces here, yeah?” All three brothers were good with their hands, and with generally being able to fix or make what they needed, but Sindri was the most artful about it. What his brother could put together would have taken Leifr much much longer and twice the effort.

Squeezing his brothers shoulder affectionately the man nodded “It has been, too long for my tastes, but we can remedy that tonight.” Had he and Tor gone out and gotten blind last week? They must have because Leifr couldn’t really remember much beyond hazy faces and a few misty memories “We must have, cause I don’t remember much...except that Tor can hardly go anywhere without someone recognizing him....our brothers getting famous, can you imagine that? But regardless of that, you should come out with us next time, have a good time or two..” He trailed off as their shots were delivered, taking his, he lifted it into the air, and paused for a moment before deciding on a toast “Here’s to family success, and dodging elderly cougars!” With that, Leifr had just begun to tilt his glass back to take his shot when a familiar voice, and an arm slinging itself over his shoulder made him bring it back down and turn towards his other brother.

“I swear, all we have to do is say your name and you appear, like Voldy himself.” He exclaimed happily, ignoring the soot that his brother had so kindly gotten all over his shirt. Eyeing his brother’s state the man grinned mischievously “So, what brings you here, Cinderella?” He wasn’t quite clear on who cinderella was, but he remembered enough of the story from when his mum would tell them that he was pretty sure it had something to do with soot. After a pause, Leifr finally threw back his shot, hissing as the burn hit the back of his throat. Rolling his eyes gently Leifr shook his head “We were actually, about how horrid you are at Quidditch, and how we can’t fathom how you managed to make the pro’s...” He was teasing, but Torsten Trickett was in danger of having a larger ego than even he did, and Leifr couldn’t let that happen. Nudging his middle brother gently Leifr gestured towards the bar, and waited till Torsten had gotten himself something to drink “So, you missed quite the scandalous story, Sindri here has found himself a married cougar....” He was curious to see how Tor would react to that news for sure.
