Okay, this hadn't been a total waste of time. Pixie didn't own much makeup, but she resolved then and there not to buy anything else unless she knew the potions only contained plant ingredients (or, as she was thinking of them, 'safe' parts of animals - the hair or anything that could be obtained without killing something). She wasn't sure how the professors were going to react to changing textbooks and the like and really, that felt like a whole lot of work for a bunch of kids to attempt, time that could be better spent actually learning stuff...or finding ways to avoid studying in the first place! Pixie's old habits hadn't quite vanished.
"You will? That's great, I'm glad I could help" she said, hoping she wasn't going to be asked to help write to other schools herself. Writing of any kind was hardly Pixie's strong point and she was glad when the subject quickly changed back to the posters. It was hardly possible to avoid them now, although the Gryffindor wondered suddenly whether the younger girl had got permission before sticking them everywhere. Not that Pixie cared very much about rules, but she preferred to deliberately break them rather than find out later that she was doing something wrong. Still, there hadn't been many people around until a few minutes ago, so it was unlikely that anyone would know she had helped to stick them up.
Several of Pixie's friends came down the stairs at that point, and she waved at them, about the same time as someone called Trudy's name. "Yeah, I will" she said, not sure yet if she really was going to join the campaign but thinking that at least she could sound encouraging "Have a good day". The second year headed off to join her friend and Pixie turned, seeing one of her yearmates beginning to draw a moustached figure on the corner of one of the posters. While they weren't hers, Pixie felt strangely protective of the other girl's work. She went over to join her friend.
"You can't draw, you know that?" she said as she stood behind them "But they've kind of got a point, don't you think? I mean, dragons are really rare, we probably shouldn't be using them in potions...anyway." she shrugged, as if it didn't matter to her either way "Breakfast?"
