I know it's possible, and I'm actually planning to incorporate that, but I was wondering how that would work for her childhood and such? How she would attend school, when the actual morphing would show up, etc.

Well Metamorphmagi is hereditary so if she has it its possible one of family members has it, normally on the mother's side (unless she is the first). Yet Mallory has started when she was younger around 2-4 years old. Most of the time is noticed when they are tiny babies or younger children. That is what I researched about. If you wanna read Mallory's sheet you can and also check up wikipedia.

I think it would be hard if she was muggleborn, but maybe an admin can help better.

well, what I was thinking is that one of the parents was actually halfblood, although she was raised with the muggle parent so therefore she'd be considered "muggleborn" for not knowing that one of her parents actually had magical blood. if that makes any sense. otherwise, i agree, i think it'd be too complicated.
