sandbox/shipper

I was just wondering what the difference is between a shipper and a sandbox?

A shipper is where you a) plan out threads with other characters b) get to know people c) keep track of your threads and such and d) spam at times >>

A sandbox is where you a) work on new characters to get feedback, advice, and connections b) can keep sheets of your current characters to update them and such, or for easy reference.
