[the underground] keep calm and keep partying[tag; caliece]

Suspender hung loosely around his waist and he jogged down the stairs leading off of his room. Straight t the kitchen he went. Pausing in the door frame he cleared his throat before fixing his hat atop his head. His mother looked up and he walked over to grab the sandwich and juice which she'd made. He ate somewhat quickly before kissing her temper and heading straight for the door. Pausing when he heard her voice, upon turning he noted that their dogs were still outside. "Sorry.." Walking over he opened the door and watched them enter, each waling over for his mother to rub them before heading right into the basement. "Fresh water and food down there already. I cleaned it and everything too. The cats ate their in the playroom, the door to my reptile room is closed and locked." He reported like he always had when he didn't want her to make him stay at home.

His body didn't move until she looked back down to the book in her hand. Outside in the fresh air, his lungs expanded. The cool summer air felt good on his skin as he pull one of the suspenders to his shoulder. It didn't take him long to get there, the underground. His eyes scanned the line and he whistled low, before walking up. The rope was pulled back and he paused, looking at the door man before speaking. "Did my plus one get added to the list?" He waited to get his confirmation before walking inside. The music touched his ears as he walked down the hall leading out into the club. His head moved to the beat, as he waved and greeted a few people.

As he sliced through the crowd he paused here and there hugging women. Each he said the same thing to, "I'll owl you." And kept it moving. Would he, nope not a chance in hell. He either bored by them or they'd done something to make him reconsider his choice to sleep with them in the first place. Once to the bar, he leaned and tapped to the under-beat of the new song in the air. "Let me get a bomber." Spinning her sat on a bar stool to look out at the various people. There was grinding here and slow dancing there. There was a lot of people here tonight, he couldn't remember what the night represented but he knew that it was something everyone liked. Blue eyes jumped around the room before coming to rest on the bar as he drink was sat down.

"Thanks man." He took a sip before glancing at the clock above the bar. It was early and he knew women she would most likely late. They had spoke about a party atmosphere when they'd gone puppy shopping. So he told her they could go to the the underground. It however was not a date, never a date. He did not date, he did not do title. He did sex with one rule, no falling in love. His disdain for love and relationships was shocking considering his parents 20 something year marriage. He had never seen them argue, never heard a voice raised. His home life was nothing outside of normal, but it seemed his parents got along great. He didn't really understand why he had little faith in a woman's ability not to tear a man down.

Maybe it had to do with some of the things his mother had told him of her past. How she had used her sexual allure to kill men, lead them into a room expecting one thing but dying instead. His sister just like his mother had the same notion of herself. Amarelle was beautiful, even elegantly so. She held herself as if she knew she was beautiful and there was nothing anyone could say to make her think otherwise. She dressed to show her skin and leave little to the imagination half the time. She too had tried her hand at killing too, and she had enjoyed it only coming to work for their mother because she was growing bored of the hire hand life. As he looked out at the women there in the club they too dressed how his sister dressed. Skin showing, body calling out to the men in the room.

Jayden was a different kind of man. His tattoos showed that much, even under the little light the vivid coloring of some of his ink could still be seen. He glanced to the door and he thought he spotted her. She was nice to be around for more than one reason. They'd spent a night together before waking up to puppy shop. She understood how he felt about relationships so he had no issues spending time with her. Now if the rare chance occurred where he started dating some random girl of his future he didn't know then. Some women became attached, clingy. He hated a clinger, they were the most annoying. A tattoo'd hand rand down the front of his orange shirt slowly as he lifted his glass to his lips with his other hand.

He had to admit he would date a woman like Vi. She was smart, innocent, challenging, but most of all she was his friend first. She knew him well and it showed when they were near each other. They moved off each other without knowing they did so. She would shift he would sit back for her to lean on him. He would move, she would hand him his glass before he could reach for it. Like water down a stream they flow well together. But she was his friend! Enough with that kind of thinking. More drinking to clear the mind was needed. Drink to his lips again he took a nice long drink before he sat it down on the bar again before arching his brow. "Hey."

He wondered if she saw him while looking, he was tall but he wasn't the tallest. Pushing off the bar he called out once more to wave her over. He had no idea if she was just getting there or already had been. Maybe she was looking for the bathroom? Hmm, who knew. He spun to order to more blue bomber, a popular drink at the underground. Not just for its dazzling blue color but its fruity taste. A drink so smooth you didn't know you were gone until you were throwing up in your own lap. He'd been there before, not his best day granted, but he had been there. "What do you think of the place? Nice right?" He spoke over the music as he looked at her. "Have you been here long? I just here." He looked up as the drinks were sat down before taking his fresh one, sliding his empty glass to the side. "How about we get a table, so you don't have to worry about falling off the stool if you get too drunk?" He'd been there before too.

He drank too much that was for sure.

Caliece had a new puppy now, thanks to Jay. He had taken her to the shelter near his home and helped her pick out a pup, he was a little Cane Corso, American bulldog mix and she had named him Brutus. The little guy was adjusting well to her large home and she was glad that he was happy in her home. Cali always felt like she needed someone, or something to come home to. Today however, Jay had invited her out to party. They had spoke about it when they went to get the little Brut. She of course agreed full heartedly. The young woman didn't have many friends and he was that she actually got along with well. They even agreed to go and get tattoos together one day. He would take her for her first tattoo and she was excited. She even showed him the picture of the raven she wanted spread across her back and he gave the okay for it.

She apologized to her pup, "Sorry little Brut, I'll be home soon okay..." She closed the puppy gate and made sure he had a nice bed, food, water and even puppy pads, just in case. Her wardrobe was a little more risque than she normally dressed but they were going to a club and she wanted to look good, and fit in. The last time she went to a club, she had no eyes on her, tonight would be different. She slipped on her shoes before heading out the door to her large house. She made sure it was locked before making her way to the Underground, where they said they would meet. She had never been the place but she hoped it would be a great place to get drunk and have fun.

The place was different than what she was used to but it was a nice change. From the outside she couldn't tell what it would be like, but there was a line outside the door of people waiting to get in. She did exactly what he told her do to. She walked up to the man letting people in and smiled polietly. "I'm Caliece, I'm Jay Dunne's plus one..." She hoped he wasn't pulling her leg but when the robed raised she knew it was alright. She nodded at the man before walking into the loud club. She smiled as she looked around. There were a lot of people in the club. Some dancing, some drinking and even a few making out. She smirked to herself before looking around the club. She didn't see him right away so she walked around getting a feel for the place. It was nice enough, she even got a few looks from guys as she walked past. She couldn't help but grin as she passed.

If she had to guess, Jay would be at the bar. She pushed past a few people and apologized for bumping into them. Her eyes fell upon him as he called out and waved to her. A smile creeped up on her lips as she made her way to him. He looked very orange, hard to miss him in fact, but he still looked good. Her tongue flicked across her lips as she made her way to him. Her eyes looked him over and she opened her mouth to speak. "No, I just got here too. I was just checking the place out when I heard you calling to me." She grinned and nodded at the table idea. Drinking was a definite and getting drunk was a given. "Table sounds great...Just make sure you pick me up if I end up on the floor okay?"

When she stopped in front of  him, some random guy swung his hand around and pinched her bottom. She jumped a little and turned the man who had placed his hands on her. "Excuse me! I didn't give you permission to touch me, let alone places like that!" She stepped backwards and in the process bumped into Jay. She turned around and looked up at him before stepping beside him. She was in utter shock that a man would do that, but on the plus side at least she knew she looked good. "Can you believe that!?" She bit down on her lip and glared at the man. The nerve of some people...

It was nice to finally be outside of his house again. His mother had made it a point to keep him confined at times he felt like he couldn't breathe. But he had been informed he could move back into his attached apartment as of tomorrow morning. He missed his own space, being able to do what he wanted the way he saw fit. It was hard not to understand her anger though, he was found drunk and naked outside the bar. There was no denying that. He had brought shame into the house with his constant need for attention, well that was what his mother said. "Trust me, I won't let you get too drunk. I want you to enjoy yourself though..." He turned as he spoke to grab their drinks, pausing to take a rather large sip of his own before he felt something touch his body.

The force in which it did cause him to look down, brows pulled together in confusion and slight anger. He had heard her speaking before she collided with his form and his eyes drifted towards the stupidly smiling man. He had made a promise, one he wanted to keep. But this was someone out with him and he couldn't very well allow this to happen. People knew him, he'd had more than a number of fights here. Hell at any bar he'd gone to there was a fight before the end of the night. But this, no this would not be a fight. His jaw clenched as he checked her over to be sure he spilled nothing on her dress. Turning he ordered two more drinks. "Grab those when they come up.."

There was no time to inform the man he had crossed a line, the lady had done that. It was his job to make sure he knew that what he had done was beyond wrong. So without much pause or warning the glass in his hand came down on the left side of the man's head hard. Enough force to lean the man's chair back before the glass in Jay's other hand also cam crashing down. His gaze was cold as his foot came up to tip the chair to the ground, before stomping directly on the man's chest. "You rude son of a...." He paused to glance up at his friends, daring for a challenge. He new maybe he could have simply went off on the man, but that was not a lesson learned. This was and would always be. He leaned and gave the man three quick blows to the face before straightening up. "Next time i'm going to break your fingers."

With that he simply waled off to find them a table. This time he hadn't broken anything thank Merlin. "Man some guys can be serious tools. Like who does that, there is a way and there is a damn way." He ranted on as he dropped lazily into a chair, drumming his fingers on the table. "How's the puppy been?" I htad been sometime since they had last talked so he wondered about the little one. He had been tempted himself to get a puppy instead he grab one for his grams. She had said something cuddly would be nice, so a chow chow was the best he could find. She had always been fond of Keeper so he figured the two would be a good match. "My grams is in love with the puppy I got her...she takes him everywhere."

It was true, he'd seen her waling around holding the puppy as she moved about the house or garden. "So how about I get us a few shots and start actually getting drunk. We can dance a little if you like...but I don't dance much." He could dance, he just preferred not too. He liked to sit and enjoy himself not sweat and be pushed around by dangerously dancing drunk people. "I promised you a fun night, so lets start having fun. Don't let that guy ruin the night, besides he's going to think twice before doing that again."

She smiled over at Jay and nodded. "I want to have a good time...." She was cut off when she turned to see that Jay was getting pissed off. She wasn't expecting him to stand up for her like that. She was pretty sure that she had handled it herself but the fact the he was willing to stand up for her made her feel good about him and herself. Maybe they really good be good friends. Better than they already were that is. She enjoyed his company and the way her made her feel, important. Even if they were only friends she still mattered, if even a little bit, to the guy who was no defending her honor.

She looked down at her own dress to be sure there was nothing spilled on it. The dress was clean and smiled and nodded at him not sure what he was going to do. But she trusted him and she walked over to the bar and grabbed the drinks as soon as the bartender set on the bar. Her body then turned toward the club and she watched as Jay walked over to the man who had touched her. Uh oh, this couldn't be good. She watched him stop in front of him and she perked a brow as she watched. This was going to get messy, it was no wonder she had her grab two new drinks...

Cali's jaw dropped to the floor as she watched Jay push the man over and pour the drinks on him. Her eyes widened and she tried hard not to laugh. Although it was rather funny, it wasn't something she should be encouraging. She bit down on her lip and shook her head at the man before following behind Jay. She sat down at the table and set the drinks down. She was rather impressed to be honest. Most guys wouldn't do something like that for, at least it hadn't happened until today. She pushed one of the drinks across the table to Jay and smiled. "Thank you. It's uhm...really sweet of you to defend me like. No one's ever done something like that before." Not only was she freaked out because he touched her but it brought back horrible, painful memories that she didn't want to remember.

She took the glass that held her drink and took a few sips. It actually tasted really good, it was fruity but not really sweet. She smiled and looked down at it. "What is this...it's really good." Her eyes looked back up at him and she nodded at his comment. She didn't want to talk about it anymore. She was embarrassed and humiliated. "Yeah, I suppose so...I just don't get why men are like that." She frowned and took a few more sips from her drink. "The puppy is great! He's almost potty trained already. He's super smart and he loves being petting behind his ears." She grinned at him and licked the drink off her lips.

She laughed and smiled at him. "Well I'm glad she likes the puppy, you picked out a really cute one." She looked down at the drink that was now empty and blushed. "Uhm..yes, lets get some shots." She bit the side of her lip and looked up at the bar. "What kind of shots do you want to get...?" She looked back at him and perked a brow. "Dancing...I uh...I'm not very good at dancing." It was true she hadn't danced since Hogwarts. "I hope so, the next time anyone tries something like that, I may break their...." She blushed harder at the thought that was her head. Man parts...break them off, that would keep them from being such jerks right?

As the drink was slid his way he picked it up and placed the glass to his lips. He too his time drinking nearly half of the concoction before offering her a slight smile. A tattooed hand rose slowly as he shook his head returning his glass to the table. “No need to thank me. It’s all about honor among men really. Some guys thin that because I appear to be weak they can test me. But let’s be honest I would break a man’s face for just looking at me wrong, so who would be smart to test me? I don’t lie disrespect in no shape way or form, never have. My mom…” He thought of the elegant beauty that had raised him. Of how she demanded the respect of everyone, even those she would consider higher in standing than she.  “She used to always tell my sister that the respect of a man is never given it is undoubtedly earn, through the showing that you are not an object to be placed on a shelf at his convenience. “

He never understood that until he’d met Vivienne. She had demanded his respect even as a young girl and for that he had learned the true lesson behind his mother’s words. “So men like that guy, haven’t learned to respect women. They take them for granted, bedding them with recklessness.”  He took another drink from his glass as blue rested on the man who was now pulling himself from the floor with the help of his friends. Maybe it had been a cheap shot, taking the man off guard but he had to know that something was coming behind his indecent act. This gave slight comfort to the small pot of remorse that rested deep within the soul of the Gryffindor. He watched with an intense interest, shifting as if preparing to stand as he stared eye to eye with the man for a long moment. Her voice broke through his mind but his eyes never left the man, because he knew revenge was best served hot.

Hell, he’d served a few plates in his time so it was expected. “It’s called a Blue Bomber, but everyone calls it a Bomber when they order it. It’s popular here, I always order it as a starting drink because it doesn’t take like anything but fruit. One or two of these and shots taste like water, preparing for a night of fun and stupidity.” His gaze only shifted to her as the man turned to leave with his friends. “Just promise if I start taking my clothes off, stop me.” He gave a slight grin remembering how he’d told her of his latest arrest. He was a wild child, driven by the force of spontaneity that sometimes had to power to cause him to stand arrest in the door of his room as he stared down at a naked beautiful woman. Countless faces flashed through his mind’s eye as he looked towards the bar lifting his hand to hold up four fingers.

As usual he ordered his drinks from his table with hand signals that the bartender had become familiar with as he spent so much time here. He was only allowed drinks for the simple fact that he was a Regan, and who would deny a member of the family a drink in one of their establishments? He looked over at her with a smile before looking down at the redden knuckles of his hand. “I’m glad you like the puppy, don’t get crazy like me and have like a million.” He flexed his hand watching the ink over his fingers and knuckles stretch from the effort. “Oh! I talked to both my tattoo artist…Jude is still out of the country but Tony says he can look at what it might be that you were thinking up. He said we could come by whenever you’re ready. But since school starts soon he said he is ok with meeting in Hogsmeade if you still wanted me there…”

He looked up as the shots were sat down by a waitress he’d slept with once. From beneath his lashes he watched her before giving her a charming smile. “Thank you Trisha…keep them coming. My friend here hasn’t gotten properly drunk before.” He watched her walk away thinking of their night together as he did before shaking his head to give his attention fully to his company. “These are called liquid gold.” He tilted one of the shot glasses so she could see the golden glint the liquid gave off in the light. “Really strong stuff….so maybe have another bomber before drinking one of these.” As he spoke he lifted the shot to his lips, knocking the drink into his mouth quickly. Even though he was used to the drink it still caused the heat within his throat.

A heat that seemed to travel all the way down to his stomach. He could feel the warmth surround his body, the slight haziness of the liquor finally overshadowing his temper that had been momentarily flaired. His gaze rested on her for a long moment before he flipped his shot glass upside down on the table. “You look nice by the way…I like your dress.” Always compliment a woman, his father had told him. But he was being honest she did look rather nice, it was nice to see. He’d only seen Vi wear a dress to a club or a bar with the intentions of simply sitting and talking. “If you don’t mind…why animals? I mean I understand a love for them…but most people want to help…well people. So why animals and not people?”

Caliece grabbed her own drink and sipped on it. It tasted so good that soon she was taking larger gulps from it. She watched as he sucked down almost all of his drink and she smiled at him. He was a veteran drinker that was for sure. She had a few drinks in her time, and in fact has a liquor cabinet in her house but she wasn't one to sit around and drink by herself. Her favorite drink was whiskey, something about the burn made her happy. "There is every need to thank you. Trust me, that probably would have gotten further out of hand if you hadn't of stepped in." She bit down on her lip and shook her head. She didn't want to think about what would happen if he hadn't been there. "I don't think you appear weak Jay. A bit young maybe, but certainly not weak." At least not by her standards. She was the one that appeared weak. After all if she hadn't the man wouldn't have found it necessary to grab her behind in front of all those people. Maybe he was just doing it to impress his friends. Whatever the reason was, she didn't appreciate it. "Well, I may have to talk to your mom someday. She sounds like a bright woman. And someone that can help me out." She shrugged and looked down at her almost empty drink.

She looked over at the man and tried not to snicker as his friends helped him off the floor. "Well men like that need to be put in their place. I can't believe he did that...I mean where does he get off thinking that girls are there for his grabbing?" She took in a breath as she felt her anger bubble up again. "Sorry..." She trailed off and finished the rest of her drink. She looked at Jay and shrugged her shoulders. "Well, I'm glad that are some good men out there. Ones that aren't going to just take advantage of girl just because she's innocent, or scared." She bit the side of her lip. She crossed her legs and readjusted her body in the seat.

"Blue Bomber...? Well I think I want another one of them." She grinned and pushed her empty glass away. "I've never had something like that before. Normally I drink whiskey. Mainly the stuff that my father had around the house." She let out a small laugh as she thought about the fine whiskey's he'd had and were now hers because he had died. "Hm....strong stuff. Well I said I wanted to get drunk so...Bring on the booze." She grinned and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. She was trying to forget about what happened and she wanted to have fun. That's why they were here wasn't it? "Water...Well I'm not sure about that, but maybe by that point I won't care that they taste like acid." She grinned and rested her head on her hand as she looked at Jay. "Stop you..? Why would I do that? Maybe I want to see you naked. Well, maybe not so much in public." She grinned and shook her head. "I'll stop you, I promise. But only if you do the same for me. I Don't want to show my..uh....goods off to everyone." She giggled and looked up at the bar.

She watched as Jay ordered more drinks from the table she smiled. "Well known are we?" She bit the inside of her lip a bit. "I do, he's a doll. A sweetheart and I'm glad I could give him a home. He really enjoys the outdoors. We go on long walks and he doesn't even need a leash. He stays right next to him. Although he does like chasing bugs." She giggled and shrugged she shoulders. "I don't mind though." She looked down at his hand and frowned a bit. "You're hand okay?" She jumped a little as he exclaimed his 'Oh.' "Really? I'd love to meet up with him and show him the idea I had!" She smiled and nodded. "And of course I want you to come with me. That was the plan after all. Besides, I need someone there with me. I'm a bit nervous. I know they hurt and everything but...maybe someone as a distraction?" She bit her lip and fought back a blush. She wasn't afraid of pain, she had dealt with a lot through her life but it was more the fear of, something new that scared her.

Cali's eyes turned up to the waitress as she dropped off the shots. She looked at them and smiled. They were pretty, gold in color but they looked a bit intimidating. She'd never done shots before. She smiled up at the waitress that Jay called Trisha. "Hey now, Don't make me look like an amateur..." Even though she was. She didn't want other people to know. "Well they look like gold." She said stating the obvious. "They're a really pretty drink though." She watched as he drank some, she smiled as another bomber was brought to her. "Okay, I don't mind. I like these." She sipped on it and drank a little bit of it before looking back at him.

His next comment made her blush. She couldn't fight it, he had complimented her and she wasn't used to being complimented. "I...uh..." Her face turned a dark shade of crimson before she looked down at her drink. "Thank you." Her face matched her dress and she picked up her drink again and took a few more sips. She now understood why they called it liquid courage. "Why...? Well because even animals need someone they can count on. And people have all kinds of help. There are hospitals and healers that they can go to. Besides I like animals a hell of a lot better than most people. They aren't rude, or angry without reason." She smiled and looked up at him again the blush slowly fading from her cheeks. She grabbed one of the shots and placed it up to her nose. She perked a brow and looked at him. "It smells pretty strong..." She set it back down and finished her bomber before picking it up again. "Alright, well here goes nothing." She tipped it back and swallowed it down. The burning sensation...oh it burned. She made a face and let out a small cough. "Geez, you weren't kidding." She make a bleh sound and stuck out her tongue. "Gross.."

Blue eyes washed over her face before he tilted his head slightly. No one had ever called him young before, it was almost as if he was testing her words in his mind. “Young…” A frown creased his handsome face as he picked up another shot, resting the cool glass to his lips. “Young…” Tilting the glass back he drank the liquid quickly as he eyed her. “I don’t know if I like that word…young. It makes me seem inexperienced.” Something he was not was inexperienced, he considered himself a veteran in a sense. The things he had done both sober and drunk was a very long and somewhat unbelievable list.

He watched her for a moment, eyes dropping to her lips. “Well to be honest most men even the good ones aren’t all saints. Not even me, only thing I have going for me I think is I’m honest. Blunt, I put everything on the table so there is no miscommunication on either side. I don’t do the dating thing; I don’t do all the emotional stuff. I mean I’ll listen if a girl needs the ear, but don’t assume anything serious is coming from time with me.” He shrugged, sitting back as four more shots and two more bombers were placed down for them. “I know it may sound cold, but I am a firm believer that two consenting adults can engage in sexual activity without complications on either end…” He only hoped two could, he had yet to find a girl who could pull emotions out of the way of sex.

He leaned slightly closing some of the distance between them. “Oh, I said stop me because I can’t get arrested again…my mom would kill me. But there is nothing more exciting than doing something forbidden in public…imagine it…the thought of getting caught but not really giving a damn because you’re lost in the moment.” His brow rose slowly, just the thought was sending his thought process down a dangerous road. “I mean I’m all for inappropriate but my mother told me to be a gentleman so I try to refrain.” His gaze never left hers as he smirked softly. He craved things such as this more than he was willing to admit. He was an adventurous person in every aspect of his life, every single aspect.

His mouth curved in a smile as he listened to her talk about her puppy, his grams was in love with her new addition. He knew what it was like to have a new puppy around, how they drew ones attention without meaning to. “There’s nothing to be nothing to be nervous about. I mean I’m a human canvas and both of the artists I told you about. I mean they value their work, its considered art.”  He looked behind her for a moment at the door out of habit, as his gaze shifted back to her he tilted his head softly. If there was one thing he liked it was a blush on a woman, the natural heat in her body giving tell-tell signs of excitement or embarrassment.

“You’re more than welcome. My compliments don’t make you uncomfortable do they?” His voice was soft as he sat back in his chair sipping from the bomber in his hand. Her explanation about her career path made sense enough and he agreed with some of her points. “I honestly don’t know what I wanna do when I get out of school…but I know I want to work for my family.” It had been a dream of his since he’d heard his first story as a child. To be a part of something far bigger than him. Watching her take the shot caused him to chuckle as he pushed the other bomber towards her. “Best with a lime, here..” He pushed a packet of salt over to her. “Take the taste away…after about two shots I don’t think the taste with bother you so much.”

Leaning forward in his seat he tilted his head softly as he looked at her. There was so much going through his head, some many possibilities. He knew that asking her to do anything on his mind would be a bad idea. But regardless it was there on the tip of his tongue, the question of the night.

She watched as he tilted his head. She didn’t mean any harm or to offend him with the word young. It was just, he was still in school and yes, even if had already experienced a lot in life there were still a lot more adventures to be had. Caliece had plenty of those to last at least a few more years before she did anything too wild and crazy. Or at least she thought so. Getting drunk was just a small step back into that life of adventure. “I didn’t mean inexperienced Jay…I just meant that, you’re still in school and there are still many more adventures to be had after you graduate. That’s all…trust me, being young is a good thing.” She shrugged her shoulders before grabbing a shot and tipping it back. She made a slight face, a little less than last time, but still a yuck face.

She let out a small laugh and shrugged her tiny shoulders. “Well honest you are…But I think I have to agree. I think two people should be able to engage in any sort of activity without having to worry about whether or not they are a couple, or if the other is going hurt his or her feelings. It gets sort of old after a while. I’m still young, and haven’t experienced a lot of those…Uhm…” A red tinge seeped into cheeks as she thought of how to say her next line. “Sexual encounters. But it’s something I want to explore before I get too old to enjoy it.” Caliece let out a small laugh before sliding the bomber drink in front of her. She was a little awkward talking about sex with Jay, but it wasn’t like they hadn’t done it before. But it was somehow different. She didn’t have any emotional attachments to him. But the sex was great. Maybe that’s what he was talking about…Sex without emotional attachments. She could do it…in fact she had done it. She liked Jay, but he wasn’t someone she’d want to date. He was a nice guy, a friend...someone that helped her deal with things. Including her sexual frustrations.

The redness in her cheeks increased as he leaned forward and whispered to her. Exciting…? Nerve wrecking was more like it. Caliece wasn’t sure she could ever try anything like that. “Do…do you mean S-sex in public?” She felt the heat in her cheeks and she took in a deep breath trying to get her color to return to normal. “I’m not sure…I mean that’s a bit extreme isn’t it?” She had to admit to herself though, it sounded thrilling. It was something she had never thought about, something she wanted to try but was a little too scared to bring up the idea herself. Jay was putting thoughts into her head, and he was willing to help her carry them out. This was all too good, and bad, to be true.

Caliece took a small drink from the glass in front of her before looking up at him again. “Well I know it’s art. I adore it, and I have wanted one for a while now. It’s just the thought of pain…It’s a bit hard for me to swallow. Not that I don’t want to do it. I do…I just need someone there for moral support. I know it sounds silly, but I think it has to do with past experiences. Someone I know being there would make a world of difference.” She  shrugged her shoulders and chalked her phobia up to being alone with the forest the night of the war and being tortured by Mrs. Malfoy. Caliece reached up and gently touched her cheeks. They were warm to the touch so it was obvious that she was still fairly red in the face.

“No, not at all…I’m just not used the compliments. I…I do enjoy them though.” She smiled shyly and fought against the redness in cheeks. She really wished she could be like other girls and take the compliments well, maybe not get all embarrassed or excited whenever someone said she was pretty or sweet. It was a bit annoying…then again; she was still pretty innocent and had yet to become accustomed to them. “Ah, well I think if it’s something you really want to do, you should go for it. You deserve happiness and you should really enjoy what you do. Granted I complain sometimes about not having enough help, but I really do love my work.” She looked at him and took the lime and salt packet from him. “Oh…I see.” She wetted her hand poured a bit of salt onto hand. She ran her tongue along the line of salt and took the shot. She made another face before sucking on the lime. “Wow….well it was better that time.” The alcohol was starting to go to her head and she could tell she was getting drunk. She took a small sip of the bomber and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

She set the empty shot glass down and looked back up him. She smiled a little. “What?” She licked the excess lime from her lips and perked a brow at him.  He was looking at her like a tiger looks at their pray right before they pounce.
