Student to Adult timeline

Hey all,

So I'm just wondering, can we only move up one year at a time per real year at MH or is there a way we can speed up graduation and such? I really want to play my character (Willow Pond) from first year to being a Mediwizard but I don't want it to take at least 11 REAL years to do it...

MH time does tend to go a bit faster then RL time, but 1 school year board time is 1 school year for your character.  School years are done as post count, but she would not be able to jump to being a second year durring her first year of school.  I hope that made sense!

But she could jump say from 1st - 3rd between school years? Like this year be a 1stie and next year be a 3rd year?

No I am sorry.  We do play our timeline chronologically here on MH.


We don't have limitations on characters though.  So you are always welcome to make an adult character too!

So to play my character from 1st year to Mediwizard would take 11 real years... hmm... is there some way I could start her off as older than 1st year?

That sadly creates issues for other drivers. We are a fairly well linked community. As such people you make friends with in first year might write about your character in their sheets. Now, if you skip ahead you are forcing everyone who met you to edit you out or change their history. It's like a domino game of edits so we try to avoid it.

If you would like to have her resorted as an older student I will change her sheet to pending.  You will need to modify her history and personality to account for the change in age, and be resorted.

If you want you can move it back to your sandbox and ask for connections for the age group you're aiming for.

I actually don't have a sandbox. I'm hoping to find people as I go... likely through my shipper.
