Due to both Durmstrang houses being very short of Quidditch players, we have decided to try something different in an effort to boost activity. With immediate effect, the Quidditch Captains are now Captains of the Durmstrang Dragon Tag teams.
The rules of this are as follows:
1. Drakonya Krov will ride Welsh Greens, Klyk Vampira will ride Swedish Short-Snouts, as these are the most plentiful and least dangerous dragons at Durmstrang.
2. Each tag-team will consist of four members plus one reserve.
3. The team Captains will fly first. The second team member will not be allowed to mount their dragon until the Captain is airborne, and so on.
4. Once the team Captain has landed, they will send up sparks in their house colour to signal the next team member to start, and so on.
5. The course will begin at the Dragon stables, across to fly over the greenhouses, over the main building and then finish by landing in the centre of the Quidditch pitch. The first team to have four members successfully land their dragons will be the winner.
6. The reserve team member will only be expected to fly in the event of death or unconsciousness of one of the main team.
