okay, so basically im just wondering if it's alright to have a character from one country play for another country's team. say, the falmouth falcons originate in the uk & ireland, but i have a character from italy who went to beauxbatons that i would like to play on the team. would this be alright or would she have to play on an italian team?

I'm not sure how this works in the wizarding world.. but in RL sports, pro athletes play for other teams all the time so that they can play in the top leagues. I don't think it would be implausible for someone from Italy to play for the Falcons if they were scouted while at BB or something. The only place where I would see it coming into play would be at like Quidditch World Cup series where she would be eligible to play for the Italian team even if she worked for a team in the UK/Ireland.

that's what i was thinking. i don't plan on her playing for the national team, just on the one team ^^ i just haven't seen it done before and all of the names in the quidditch thread are names that originated from the country, so.
