"It's meeee," Ksenia sang, her signature chipper smile plastered across her face as she met the eyes of Celeste. She didn't know when the last time she'd seen her friend was - it hadn't been years, but it hadn't been yesterday, either. She had so much she'd wanted to ask the older girl - things about her daughter and things about her job, how things had been going and if she'd maybe heard from her father lately (she was only wondering because she'd gotten a letter from her own father the other day - something about how he was having a horrible time in Azkaban - like that was her fault?) and a few other things that had started to slip her mind.
The Polish girl nodded as her friend kept talking, her eyes going down to her friend's lips to try and make sure she caught every word that was coming out of Celeste's mouth. "I'm happy you did too," Ksenia leaned in to make sure Celeste could hear her, her lips brushing against the British girl's ear. "I've been pretty good, how've you been?" She asked, before leaning back, away from Celeste's face.
"You gotta be mean, I think," Ksenia told her, her eyes landing on the bartender that seemed to be walking past them at a rather quick pace. "Being mean gets you things, in this day and age." The twenty five year old slammed her hand down on the counter as she shouted to speak with Celeste, hoping to get the attention of the bartender she'd previously gotten her drink from. "Oi, mate, I think we need a drink down here," She called out, this time addressing the person that was making the drinks. "I wan't a... friggen drink, over here!" Ksen called out. She'd almost started yelling again when someone had finally approached them, her eyes narrowing as she smiled at the guy across the bar.
"Thanks, so listen, my friend here," Ksenia's hand pressed against Celeste's back. "Has been waiting for her drink for an awfully long time, and I swear to Merlin if she doesn't get her drink in a timely matter, I'll burn your eyebrows off." She leaned in, her voice lowering as she spoke the bartender in front of her. After her little tirade, Ksenia turned back to her blonde friend, her lips pulling back in a genuine smile. "Like that, see?"
