[Announcement] Temporary Professors/Lecturer positions open!
« on: September 24, 2015, 11:05:35 AM »
Have you ever want to play a teacher for a class outside of the tri-school curriculum? Have you ever had ideas for short term programs for school age students that you wanted to play out? Awesome!

During the three months of summer playtime, drivers will  be able to apply for short term instructor positions for a student summer program. Experience isn't necessary, however dedication towards keeping the class or seminar moderately active is!

Some examples of seminars and classes could be "Beauty Potions: How to get rid of acne." Or "Dragon care and handling." You can put forth any class that you can think of. Admins will review your application, and approve it based on playability. Quidditch players need not appy because of a separate quidditch based opportunity. If you don't want to teach a class, but want to participate in the summer academy, a career day and employment opportunities will be available for sign up later this week.

To apply for a class or seminar you must;
-Write a brief description of your char (played or npc) including personality, teaching style and credentials.
-Write a brief description of the class
-Write a teaching rp sample

If you have any questions, please pm @Blo S.K.

Durmstrang and Beauxbatons speciality classes have already been chosen for the "core curriculum" but Hogwarts has two specialty classes available for play.

Please apply for:
Ghoul Studies
Magical Theory.

Also, special for this year are courses for graduating seventh years.
Please apply for the following classes or even create your own

Graduating Seventh Years Program
If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there. - Lewis Carroll
Graduating students will be given the tools and education they need to move forward into their adult lives. This course will provide insight into filling out job applications, prepare magical resumes, and how to conduct themselves in interviews. Students wishing to move onto higher education can get help filling out applications to Medical Schools and other secondary schools. Professors will assist students in securing internships and part time work in their desired fields if available. This class will help Graduating students open doors and gather the information they will need to become functioning members of the Wizarding community.
