Mmm.

On her side, Madeline was dead to the world. Utterly relaxed on a large, warm and plush mattress, she'd slept like a log. In Paris, it was noisy. Always noisy. Cars trundled by all hours of the day. Then there were bars and clubs, spewing out revellers in the early hours of the morning. Then there were delivery trucks with loud, whistling drivers who slammed doors and such. But here? Here was peaceful.

This was Torsten's bedroom and it was gorgeous. The entire trendy loft he owned was gorgeous. It was very much a bachelor pad and she was keen not to accidentally ruin in. Thankfully, Madeline was not Japanese knotweed. Besides, she liked all the shiny steel and bare wood and bricks of the place.

Last night had been amazing. As she slept, flashes of it played before her eyes. They'd started off slow and tentative, unsure really if what they were doing was a good idea but it soon turned out to be a bloody good one. Torsten had undressed her carefully, held her like she was a fragile object and looked at her like she was some sort of rare and exotic creature. His hands were big and strong but touched her oh so gently. This was so different from the mechanical, perfunctory sex she and Ernie had had or the drunken, clumsy fumbling of her past boyfriends. This, this was incredible.

Smiling into her pillow, Maddie stirred. In her warm little cocoon, she was unwilling to get out of this hallowed space. Birds were singing. Or was she imagining it? She cracked one honey coloured eye open and turned a little, her hand reaching out to softly touch him…but he wasn't there.

Fear struck her right in the heart. Suddenly awake, she sat bolt upright as her brain struggled to catch up properly. With foggy eyes, she looked around the room. It was empty. The sliding doors were open, leading onto the veranda. His clothes were gone, too. She remembered leaving them on the floor along with her dress and seeing that that garment was gone too, she swallowed. Oh how could she be so stupid? Again?

Feeling used and ashamed, tears burned her eyes as they threatened to fall. So Torsten had brought her on fancy dates, behaved like the perfect gentleman, just so he could get into her lacy knickers? Shocked but secretly unsurprised, she swallowed. A long bare leg stuck out from the covers as she placed a bare foot onto the floor, carefully wrapping a sheet around her body like a strapless dress and tucking in the ends so it'd stay put. Her pale skin was flushed, her golden hair sticking up around her hair from sleep and the times he'd run his fingers through it last night.

Coughing to shift the memory, she left the bed and stepped onto the little mezzanine level. Where on Earth were her clothes? Chewing anxiously on her lower lip, she looked at the clock. It was a little after nine in the morning. Her neighbours would be awake and there was no way in Hell she'd be able to do the walk of shame in a borrowed sheet, right in the middle of a busy Parisian street. Urgh.

Smacking a hand to her forehead, she stopped suddenly as she cautiously sniffed the air. Bacon? And something sweet, either pancakes or waffles with a tinge of burnt aroma. Quietly, she peeked over the balcony rail to see Torsten dashing about in his boxer shorts, seemingly trying to do something and all of her anger just melted away. He hadn't left in the night. A blush suffused her cheeks and she resisted the urge to start screaming and performing a rendition of her happy dance.

Hiding her smile behind the back of her hand, she stepped forward and leaned over the balcony rail just a little. She looked a mess. Still half asleep and her body on the come-down after a burst of rage and adrenaline, her long blonde hair curled as it met the curve of her shoulder. Maddie had naturally curly hair and spending the night, she'd left her expensive potion bottles back home. Damn it. "G'morning," she called out sleepily with a grin, her body tingling with the anticipation of seeing him again.

Last night was amazing. Torsten really never wanted Madeline Fletcher to leave his arms ever after that. Most of the time there was no passion in love making, he just did it. Actually all those times were usually one night stands and not someone her really cared for. It was rare to find that in his life. He is used to women that were just there for a week, some arm candy that want to be in the newspaper or tabloids. He was trying to take his time with everything and be patient. When he woke up though he wished he could stay there all day seeing that beautiful girl cocooned in his blankets. Her hair looked like it was going everywhere. Absolutely beautiful. He really could watch her all day, but he knew if she woke up with him watching her it probably would be weird. He pulled the sheet up her bare shoulder a little more so she would not get cold and kissed her forehead after moving her hair out of her face slightly. He hoped she would not wake up. Torsten wanted to try to surprise her with breakfast in bed.

He picked up the clothes on the floor and folded them, placing them on a chair in the corner of the room. Hopefully she would find them, if not he did have some larger quidditch shirts she could wear that would be comfortable. He made his way downstairs in his bright blue boxers and checked his cabinets. He was looking for the waffle mix. He found pancake mix. That would work right? He was not sure. He was the not best cook. He grabbed bacon out of the fridge and started a skillet on the stove of that. He then pulled out the waffle maker out and plugged it in. As he was doing this a bowl of the mixture was being mixed with a spoon by itself. He was good at enchanting spoons to help out. He waited for the machine to heat up and continued by adding the mixture to the waffle maker. He waited for a few minutes and it smelled like a burning smell. "Crap." He hoped he didn't wake her with that. He pulled the burnt waffle off of the maker and put it in the trash. Time to try again. He continued with the next and it worked. He flicked his wand at a spatula to flip the bacon and it did it for him. When the bacon was done he spoke a few more words and that caused the knob to turn off and just set the bacon on the table, which was ready. He was still working on the waffles. There was a mess with the mixture in the bowl though. The spoon was going faster than what he wanted and it was now on the floor and partially on him. He will need a shower later.

He heard a voice as he pulled the last waffle off the maker. He looked up and seen the curly hair beauty at the balcony railing. "Hello beautiful. Did I wake you?" He looked at the table and back up at her. "I was trying to surprise you with my failing cooking." He smirked. "I'll bring it up to you." He turned to the table and fixed two plates and set them on a tray he found in the living room. He had no clue where it came from but it worked for the situation. He grabbed two glasses and filled them with orange juice and put them on the try. He flicked his wand and held it up to direct the tray to follow him. He thus continued up the stairs to make his way to Maddie. He flicked his wrist and the tray made its way to the bed and gently was landed there. Thankfully nothing split.

"Hopefully, you like waffles and bacon." He tried to wipe off some of the pancake batter that was stuck to his stomach, where some of it exploded.

Madeline was intent to watch. He was funny. She knew that from the first time they'd met. If anyone asked the "how did you two meet?" question, the blonde was hesitant to tell the truth. The truth was that they'd met in his uncle's bakery. They'd been going for the same door. He'd pushed it open swiftly and she'd walked into it, breaking her nose and sending blood and screams everywhere. Yeah sure, it wasn't really a romantic story but it was their story and it was good enough.

She gave a dimpled smile and shook her head, sending wild curls flying everywhere. "Nope," she said brightly, letting out a small sigh of relief that she was confident he wouldn't hear. For a moment there, she was feeling a bit worried. The idea that he'd left her alone made her cheeks burn with embarrassment. She was about to curse herself for her own stupidity when he'd arrived. Not on a white horse but wearing bright blue boxer shorts.

She grinned down at him, her cheeks pink from Torsten's compliment. Had she known she'd be staying over, Madeline honestly would have slept in her make up. She knew she looked like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards. She and Torsten hadn't been dating long enough for her to be comfortable in him seeing her barefaced. Well, too late. Tally-ho!

Surprise? "I'm so sorry," Maddie replied, looking crestfallen. He was going to surprise her with breakfast in bed and she'd ruined it! How romantic. Madeline wasn't really that romantic. She didn't know how to be. Oh sure, she remembered partner's birthdays and special occasions but she'd only really had two: Logan and Ernie. No one had every made her breakfast in bed before. She chewed on her lower lip, feeling panicked but seeing him climb the stairs, she forced herself to relax a little.

She'd been through the ringer, emotionally battered and bruised. The tall blonde wasn't really into the whole one night stand thing. She knew Logan was and probably Torsten too. She'd entered into this thing with trepidation, with worry and caution. She'd been hurt before and she wasn't sure that she'd properly healed yet. But she didn't want to be a spinster with a cat. She was only nineteen. She could make mistakes. No one would blame her. Offering him another smile as the tray floated in, she took a minute. Hopefully Torsten Trickett wouldn't be another mistake.

"Thank you," she said brightly, her sheet still firmly wrapped around her like a haphazard toga. "They're my favourite," she told Torsten with a smile as she sat down on the edge of the bed and delicately chewed  on the edge of a piece of deliciously crispy bacon. She didn't have the heart to tell him that she very rarely ate breakfast but her stomach was rumbling rather loudly and she was all too happy to scarf the rest of the rasher. Delicious.

Taking a sip of the orange juice, she nearly choked as the sunlight filtered in and caught his chest. Last night, Torsten had explored every inch of her body with slow, deliberate touches. She'd been completely naked but now, she just felt shy. Unaware that she was gawping at him, she blushed. A small part of her was thrilled. He adorned the walls of hundreds, if not thousands of girls' bedrooms but here she was, all alone.

Putting the glass down, she stood and stepped forward. "C'mere," she said softly, one arm around her chest to keep her sheet in place as the other pulled out a bit of the material and gently dabbed at his stomach. Her fingers were tingling. She could feel the taught, well defined muscles beneath the fabric of his sheets. Madeline kept her eyes firmly on the task at hand, making a mental note to wash his sheets before she left. It was very unusual. Maddie could see why he had so many fans. He was gorgeous. All manly and stuff but aside from that, he was genuinely really lovely. But he radiated raw sexual energy that was hard to ignore.

Madeline felt very timid. Who would have thought that she'd be in a Quidditch player's bedroom, trying to clean waffle batter off his torso? She was acutely aware that she wasn’t his usual type. She wasn't model thin. She was tall and she had hips and curves, big boobs that she was proud to say were all her own.

She felt very exposed all of a sudden, almost like she didn't have permission to touch him in such a way. Feeling an odd mix of courage and severe doubt, she stepped forward. Slowly and gingerly, she reached out to cup Torsten's face, revelling just for a second at his long eyelashes before leaning in and kissing him softly.

"Thank you," she told him gently, inhaling deeply the scent of sleep and clean linen. She flicked her honey coloured eyes up to his and offered an unsure smile that was crooked at one end. "For last night. And this morning," she added as an afterthought, her hands dropping to his large hands as flashes of them sliding up the length of her thighs appeared from her memory. She blushed again.

Sliding her hand down the side of his neck, she offered him another smile before retreating to the bed and snuggling down, happily chewing on a piece of waffle. Madeline was the type of girl who'd never order a garden salad in a restaurant. She was very much a steak and chips kinda gal. "This is really good," she complimented him, her cheeks puffed out like a hamster as she chewed, pointing at the waffle with her fork and making soft, agreeable sounds as she ate.

"You don't have to go to training today, do you?" She asked in some alarm, her head snapping upwards to watch him with wide eyes. If he did, she at least hoped he'd stay for breakfast.

"Its completely fine! You probably thought I ditched you or something?" He had to admit he has done that to girls. He would never to that to Maddie though. She was completely different than those other girls. She just made him feel a little less of a playboy, jerk that everything said he was in the papers. Obviously, he was the complete different but he had to always put on a show for the papers. That was the easiest way to get sponsors and keeping him signed to different things. He made his money with sponsors and posters. If he looked and acted like a playboy in public it was easier. Maddie will just get to see the true side of him. Completely devoted, hopeless romantic.

As she told him thank you about the bacon, he just smirked grabbing one himself and biting down. Usually he just drank a shake in the morning, unless it was game day. Game day he had to load up on those carbs. The move bulky he was the better he was a beater.

Torsten did not even notice that he had batter on her stomach. Maybe it was time he put a little more focus on how messy he could be. He was not the cleanest person the world, but that is what maids were for. He had a cleaning lady that came about three times a week to pick up after his messes. She walked in with him being with a girl before, half the time she pushed it off. Thankfully, today was a day she did not come though. Those dishes will have to be enchanted to be cleaned. He would do it later though, Maddie was his focus.

He watched her focus on his stomach and he just paid attention to her shoulders and her messy hair. She was so beautiful just like this. He reached a hand up and softly touched her shoulder, she then touched his face and kissed him. He wanted to push the food off the bed and take her over right there, but he did not want to make even bigger mess. He reached up and moved her hair out of her face and moved to the other side of the bed and sat down. She then asked him a question about training, he chuckled gently. "Today I am all yours, so whatever you want to do- its yours." He smirked at her moving down slightly on the pillow and propped himself up with his arm.

"We can just stay in bed all day if you want that too. I don't mind." He smirked. He reached his head over, trying not to make a mess with the food, and kissed her on the cheek then on the ear. "You are adorable ears." He pulled back and smiled at her.

Madeline winced.

Torsten's reply was flippant and funny but he'd accidentally cut a little too close to the bone. She wasn't the kind of girl that boys made breakfast for. In fact, they usually left before dawn broke. Reaching up, she scratched the back of her neck awkwardly before smiling. "Yeah something like that," she said gently. Unbeknownst to the Quidditch star, he'd been her first boyfriend since the breakdown of her marriage. There was a lot of pressure on the burgeoning relationship.

Did she think of Ernie often? No. Not really. The good thing was that Torsten, so far, seemed completely different. He was fun and loud and outgoing. She doubted he'd disprove of her drinking beer or going out to various Parisian parties like Ernie had in the past.

Her initial feelings of awkwardness soon melted away as he touched her bare shoulder, looking up into his face after they'd kissed. Did she see a future with him? Well, she hoped so. They were so early on in their relationship that they didn't know much about each other. Had he been anyone else, she supposed they could have gone out to dinner or something but with Torsten being a world famous Quidditch player, she doubted cozy nights out would be a possibility.

The bedroom was still warm from sleep, the curtains blocking out most of the bright sun and it felt like it was just the two of them in the world that morning. The bed was comfortable, way more preferable to her little box room back in Paris. The lull of sleep was threatening but she couldn't really drift back off, not while there was a bona fide sex god laying next to her, wearing only his underwear. Goodness.

Maddie brightened. "Really?" She asked, honey coloured eyes wide and sparkling as she grinned, dimples and all. The prospect of another day with Torsten, even staying in, was exciting. With a giggle, she chewed on her lower lip, carefully carving into her crisp waffle as she gave a nonchalant shrug of her slender shoulders. Was it too soon to suggest they just get naked again and pick up where they left off last night? Supposed she ought to play it cool. That's what the  magazines always told her to do.

Suddenly ravenous, she leaned back against the headboard and chewed, the rush of sugar tasting amazing as she ate. "Mmm," came the lazy reply as her eyes slipped to a close, her body instinctively curving towards his as he kissed her cheek. Turning to face him and rustling the plates, she slowly and gently ran her fingers up and down his strong forearm before she burst out laughing.

As he mentioned the body part, her ears promptly turned a delightful shade of pink as she laughed again, squirming delightfully as the touch tickled, curling her toes in pleasure. "Thanks," she said, still chuckling as she flopped backwards onto the pillows, tilting her chin up to watch him. Lifting a finger, she gently booped him on the tip of his nose. "I like your nose," she said with a grin.

Madeline reached out a hand and slowly trailed her fingertips over his cheekbone, along his jaw line and down his neck to rest on his chest. She delighted in being able to touch him. Properly touch him. She was willing to bet that she was the envy of teenage girls all across the entire country.

She gave a yawn, stretching like a cat unfurling from a deep sleep in front of the fire. In the process, her sheet dislodged a little, awarding him a glimpse of her milky white skin which shimmered as it met the streaming sunlight. "I think I like your idea," she said with a grin. "I don't think I've stayed in bed past 6AM in the past two years." Wriggling, she settled back down,  her blonde hair fanning over the pillow like a golden halo as her eyes slipped to a close. "Thank you," she told Torsten softly. "For breakfast and last night. I really appreciate it."

Biting her lip, she looked over at him and smiled. "Tell me a secret."
