The world seemed to be going to ruins around her. People were sick with some type of flu that seemed far to deadly not to cause panic. It wasn't as if the witch didn't have her own problems just that the problems of others always seemed far more intense. It had been a long time since Xio had held a camera in her hands. Even longer since she had truly enjoyed something she was doing. Photography had always been that for her, even before she started modelling. It would be a lie to say she didn't miss it and when there was room for it she took a job or two here and there. But the witch loved being behind the camera instead of in front of it.

There was a beauty that could be captured that was intoxicating to the young mother. She had nearly forgotten how much she enjoyed taking pictures. "No, the lighting is all wrong." Her body moved to straighten out as she pulled back from the camera in front of her. "Can we open the curtains of this side of the room please.." Turning in her spot hazel-green eyes took in the area once more before coming to rest back on the model before her. "Better...but.." She moved to walk over to the woman, lifting her head a bit before tilting it to the side. "...hold that there..." Jogging to moved to go back to her camera, leaning in to focus her shot before taking it.

Her gaze shifted for a second and she could swear she saw someone she knew walk passed the open door. "Let's take a ten minute break...stretch and grab something to eat." Her legs were carrying her as she spoke, moving towards the door with a certain haste. "Cormac...?" Her accent hinted her words as she stepped out into the halls her brows pulled together. She could remember the last time she saw the man, but so much in her life had changed since then. So much had changed her that the same worry she had with Camden crept back into her thoughts.

She had been broken down to her core. Losing Camden and then having him come back only to lose him again took something away from her. Made her lose faith in love and happiness. She had never been a naive girl but she had needed something to believe in. Now she wasn't so sure. "Hi..." It was all she could muster.

Cormac's life had been hectic since he'd gotten engaged a year earlier. Romilda knew exactly what she wanted for the wedding, but Cormac was very involved in the planning as well, and the guest list was getting long. He felt that he owed her the fairytale wedding of her dreams, and he was excited to give it to her. He was even more excited to begin married life with her. They'd already moved in together and bought a nice house. Cormac was still modeling as his primary source of income, and was getting better all the time. Romilda was working to become an actress and Cormac was doing everything he could to support her as much as he could.

Cormac was in the studio, wrapping up a shoot. It had been long and he was still wearing his makeup as he packed up his things and began to make his way out of the building, passing another studio door on his way without really even peeking. When he had been new to the job, he used to love watching other shoots to get experience and watch professionals work (when allowed). Now, Cormac cared more about getting home to his fiancee and his cat than anything else. Maybe he was getting older now, or maybe it just came with the job.

He stopped, however, when he heard a familiar accented voice calling his name. He smiled as he turned towards her. “Xio!” He greeted, moving forward to give her a hug. “I didn't know you were shooting here and—” he noticed her camera. “You're doing photography now? That's really cool. What's it like on the other side of the camera?”

Her smile was soft as she was pulled into a hug, slender arms moving to return the affection. Hazel-green eyes dropped down to the camera she was still holding. "Oh, yes." She gave a slight chuckle. "It's a bit less time consuming which is good for me." She missed the traveling that came with modeling but she loved being able to be around her son more often than not. Her gaze shifted back towards the direction Cormac had come from. "I can't say I don't miss being in front of the camera...I just enjoy the creating of being behind the camera." Her gaze shifted back to the man next to her as her body leaned against the wall.

There was a pause as someone stepped from the room between them to wander down the hall. The former models' eyes traveled along their path before rising up to look back at Cormac "Just finishing a shoot?" Her accented words were solidifed by the inclination of her head towards his neatly made up face. She missed the pampering that came with being in front of the camera. She missed the glitz and the glamour. Xio knew she could never go back because of the memories it forced to the surface. Being behind the camera allowed her to not to think of the fact that Camden was no longer in her life. It kept her from thinking of how the love they shared died with his memories despite them coming back over time.

"It has been a very long time since I last see you." Here she moved to step away from the door, holding a camera weilding hand up to indicate that she was moving towards the exit. "How long you think? One...no two years?" It had been quite some time, last time she had been face to face with him she was pregnant. Very pregnant if she remembered correctly. Her free hand rose to push the curly tangled up locks of hair from her face as hazel-green eyes closed briefly from the light hitting her face from the picture window leading towards the exit. "There must be something new and exciting in your life?"
