Events between 1998-2001

Hello there. I'm new and currently working through my character's profile. As I've been being nosy looking at other people's sheets and reading about the site I've noticed a few things that seem to be referenced briefly but aren't canon (to the best of my knowledge) but have obviously been played out here (eg: the dome (?) over Hogwarts). Sadly, I've been finding it really difficult to find out what's happened in terms of these events. I really want to find out more as these events would obviously impact on my character.

Is there a board or a topic that I've missed that details past major events that are considered to be canon here? I'm thinking more specifically about events that would have happened between 1998-2001 (Hogwarts/ Britian focused) as these would not have been detailed in the books but would have been played out here.  If there isn't a pre-existing topic/ board then where could I find the information? Would you maybe consider making a topic/ board such as this (I am aware this could be a lot of work but I feel it's worth considering) as it would be really helpful to new members.

Most, if not all, of the events and mini plots we've played out on the site in recent years (and not mentioned on the timeline above) are notated in topics in the Old Announcements forum. Here are some topics about the latest Hogwarts plot: x, x, x. If you've seen any other events listed and have any questions about those, just let me know and I'll dig up some info for you. We don't currently have a forum for all the events, and more than likely won't, but we are in the process of compiling everything (from plots to content) and adding it to a database for member use.

Also the 'do not use' tag is just a post-specific tag. Once you've got 1 post you automatically get added to that group.

I also have a timeline in the second post of my sandbox if you'd like a small supplement! It's nowhere near as detailed as Fee's masterpiece but I've added some of the more recent years. ^^
