Ilvermorny?

Let me first acknowledge the fact that developing the lore/descriptions/content for an entire school (obviously based on the canon information JK Rowling has given us on Pottermore) must be quite a bit of a task.... Not to mention actually creating all of the forums on the technical side of the site....

I just want to say, since this board takes place not only Hogwarts but also in the adult world as well as other wizarding schools across the globe, I think it would be REALLY cool if Ilvermorny was included. Are there plans for this to happen in the future? If not, can it be a discussion?

As an American fan of Harry Potter since my childhood, I have always wondered what my school for magic would be like also, I would be happy to assist with this project in anyway possible!

Alright, fair enough! Is there a particular reason why that would be excluded? I'm curious because we do have Mahoutokoro on MH, which we have only learned about after the fact, along with the three original schools from the books.

Also, I assume it would be alright to construct an adult character who is from America and who studied at Ilvermorny and who now resides in Europe?

The Mahoutokoro guide was written in its entirety (minus the canon bits) by two MH members over the course of half a year and was just recently made available. It was an insane amount of work. Adding new schools and new features and making them playable can be a massive undertaking, which is one of the reasons we are a not caught up with all the pottermore stuff ^^

As of now, the answer is unfortunately no on the Ilvermorny grads ><
Maybe someday in the future (don't lose hope!), but that will be a long discussion in admin first haha.
