After she'd gone through the fireplace Jeremy followed her quickly and with a flash of green light he was fumbling out of the grand hearth on the other end. Seeing Oighrig standing in the dilapadated dining hall before them Jeremy moved a little further in as a chill ran down his spine. "Spooky.." He said with a bit of trepidation followed up by an excited grin. Rubbing his hands together enthusiastically the red head brought himself to standing right next to her as the floor boards under him creaked. There were cobwebs covering everything, cracking wallpaper splitting and falling around them, and very little light. The few black candles that were lit were bleeding red wax and their flames flickered dangerously, threatening to go out at any moment and leave the pair in utter darkness. The boards on the ceiling above them cracked, giving way and allowing a cloud of dust to descend upon them and Jeremy shivered again. "There is something moving up there..." He tucked his arm into hers, positioning her just ever so slightly in front of him with a grin because he assumed she would notice, and then led them toward the rickety staircase in the foyer just north of where they were.
The creaking steps felt like they were buckling under his boots but he pushed on anyway. Moving to the second floor the candle lit was nonexistent, it was nearly pitch black and Jeremy slid his wand out of his back pocket to produce some light for them. The glowing tip of his wand only made things creepier, casting strange shadows around them and illuminating things he wan't sure if he wanted to see. The haunted house had all of the staples, organs in the tub, bats sleeping in the exposed rafters, and creepy baby dolls sitting alone on rocking chairs that shouldn't be rocking by themselves. Jeremy's heart was racing by the time they got to the back room where the noise had been coming from earlier. He turned the antique glass knob and pushed on the old door with a bit of force as it got stuck. He led her into the final room, turned a corner with his wand still outstretched and glowing in front of him, and caught a ghastly sight.
Screaming like a child Jeremy's voice cracked as his fear shook him to the core.
And then he realized he was looking at a mirror.
