[Solved] Claiming FPP for Journals and BOT Threads

I am going through my posts trying to find one that I can FPP for some pumpkin seeds.  Being new to MH, the oldest post of my characters are the BoT beginning dinner and My character's journals. Would it be possible to claim either of the two?

• I was told the Opening Dinner does not typically get rapped up. Although you can "write" your char' out of the scene,all the other character's don't typically write them selves out of the scene. Does it never meet FPP requirements?

• Have you had someone claim a journal? How do you meet the requirements? Does it need a break?

In general you can claim BoT and journal threads in the FPP, but I don't think either of those would count as completing a thread and claiming it for the pumpkins (unless @Christine disagrees).
