In preparation for the upcoming Quidditch World Cup, the World Quidditch Association has released the list of official winners of the
Known Quidditch Leagues of the World. Pundits predict that some of the League Winners, such as the Cartago Cadegos of Costa Rica and Vratsa Vultures of Bulgaria, could foreshadow results of the upcoming World Cup. However, as we have seen in previous World Cups, League results do not always reflect in national standings.
With regards to the Quidditch World Cup, the national teams are expected to be at their respective Training Camps within the next week or so. With the catastrophic destruction of the newly-constructed German National Stadium, the International Confederation of Wizards Quidditch Committee are scrambling to find a new location for the Cup, though our sources suggest a decision has almost been made. The build-up to this years event has already seen Senegal withdraw from the competition, allowing a last-minute promotion to the Indonesian team who had initially failed to qualify.
