Castelobruxo School of Magic proudly presents its exclusive winter exchange programme, available for students all over the world, let it be from Beauxbatons, Hogwarts, Durmstrang, Koldovstoretz, Mahoutokoro or Ilvermorny. The exchange programme consists of a two-month curriculum.
During July, when Castelobruxo students are usually on winter vacation for four weeks, now the Latin American students have the opportunity to introduce international students to the Brazilian lifestyle, as each will gain a ‘buddy’ to help throughout their stay at Castelobruxo. The agenda for the first month consists mostly of explorations of the Amazon, with practical lessons of Herbology, Herbal Magic, Care of Magical Creatures and Magizoology. Furthermore, there shall be advanced lectures in Arasselva available for all students, local or international, where special talks shall be held at Academia Internacional de Maldições Eronildo Saraiva, regarding the Arts of Curses and Curse Breaking.
In August, as the school term will resume, international students will have the opportunity of experiencing life as a Castelobruxo student, attending classes along with the local students. All international students’ work during Castelobruxo’s exclusive winter exchange programme will be recorded at the correspondent school’s affiliated Ministry of Magic, and will be counted as an international experience for the students, which will aid them in gaining a job easier after graduation.
While the winter exchange programme is available for all, Castelobruxo is known for having high standards in Herbology and Magizoology, so all students who successfully finish their programme shall receive an ‘intermediate Herbologist’ or ‘intermediate Magizoologist’ diploma (depending on their results) at the end of August.
The Castelobruxo winter exchange programme begins on the 15th of July and ends on the 28th of August (port-keys are prepared by the Brazilian Ministry of Magic). All students will have a three day break during the Quidditch World Cup in August, when staff shall take them to attend the final Quidditch match.
Castelobruxo allows all students to enter the programme with no costs, being sponsored by the Brazilian, Japanese, and Swedish Ministries of Magic. Nonetheless, admittance and attendance does not guarantee high results and a good review with the students’ affiliated Ministry of Magic.
