Location: Teresina, Brazil
Participating Countries: Algeria, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Indonesia, Lithuania, Malawi, Peru, Panama, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, South Africa, Ukraine, Wales

Generously funded by both the Japanese and Swedish Ministries of Magic, no expense was spared in the month-long preparation for the most expensive World Cup event in the history of Quidditch. Estimated six billion galleons, the stadium was created with the hopes of showcasing the cultural diversity within the wizarding community as well as the breathtaking natural sites of the area. Constructed within the parameters of Teresina and in close proximity to the city’s center, the area is heavily guarded by the impenetrable forest that surrounds it and keeps it safe from any muggle interference. The stadium itself, with a seating capacity of 75,000 spectators, boasts state of the art magical technology to keep fans informed with real-time data of their favorite players and to aid referees in making the fairest calls during the game. The oval-shaped venue is decorated in colors representative of the country, and on either side of the field there are three goal hoops made from pure gold and charmed in order to maintain their beautiful shimmer regardless of what the elements might bring in the future. Those looking for a quick refreshment are welcomed to visit the food and beverage areas for an authentic local experience with feijoada, a delicious bean stew, and moquexa de camarão, a fish stew with fried shrimps, a few of the many delicious dishes available at the venue.

The campsite allotted for the event, a spacious lush green surrounded by vegetation native to the country, is within a short walking distance from the stadium. Though Teresina is well hidden from any Muggle campsites, measures have been taken in order to hide any evidence of magical activity. In an effort to conserve the environment and show respect for the host country, regulations have been created in order to control the type of additions allowed on visitor’s tents such as chimneys. The Japanese and Swedish Ministries of Magic encourage all visitors to take advantage of all the amenities that both the stadium and campground have to offer and as such, have gone through great lengths to make both areas safe and full of entertainment to give visitors a taste of what life in the city of Teresina is like. Merchants selling anything from moving posters and other items in support of a team or player to food, beverages, and other necessities are located in large tents along the edges of the campsite. Those looking for a great shopping experience might want to visit the Mercadao de Curiosidades, located at the entrance of the site, a chain store best known for its affordable prices and peculiar selection of items. The limited edition items created in honor of the Quidditch World Cup finalists are sure to be family favorites. Tours into the city, sponsored by the Brazilian Ministry of Magic, along with performances and other cultural activities will also be available in between matches.
