Freya dusted some crumbs off of the front of her shirt and leaned back in her chair. She felt like she was going to be sick if she had another bite, but making herself stop was almost impossible. “Phew,†she sighed, her honey-coloured eyes flicking from empty plate to empty plate as she surveyed their work. She nodded when Shelby said she was done. “Right?†she asked rhetorically, agreeing with her cousin.
“Better not get sick when we apparate,†Freya added with a sunny smile. After a minute, the blonde got to her feet. She stretched her arms above her head, then adjusted her hair and checked that she had all of their bags and hadn’t left anything behind. “We should do this again, soon,†she said with a soft smile. “Here, let me take that,†Freya said, reaching for one of the shopping bags. She would take Shelby home, and then she needed to go home and have a nap.
