Reena hadn't really had a day for herself as she took a great deal of time studying for her OWLs. If she had the ability to, without the consequences, she wouldn't do them at all. She was sick of studying, and it made her more and more anxious as the tests drew closer. She wanted to do well, but she also just didn't want to do it. The fifth year was bundled up in a dark maroon winter cloak with fuzzy white fur lining the edges and opening, along with matching hat and gloves. While a lot of students were interested in the hockey events, she was more interested in just ice skating around.

She moved slowly along the ice, with a push here or there to keep her moving. The witch wondered how the lake creatures were doing with having a frozen home. She knew some of them were okay based off of the fact that they passed by the Slytherin common room windows now and then. But it still worried her as she knew some of the creatures didn't like the cold and spent more time in the deeper parts of the lake to stay warm. Some of those hiding creatures could get eaten by other creatures. It was a circle of life, but it still saddened her.

She followed the rope around the lake, taking in the partly sunny weather and the beautiful surroundings. The mountains were pretty. She knew not to go beyond the roped off area, primarily because she didn't want to drown or turn into an ice cube. She made it to the furthest point away from the shore and stood still for a moment to take in the brief sun beam before heading back to the shore. The peace and quiet along with the crisp fresh air was relaxing. She was out on the lake before others were, before it got crowded and full of people. The Slytherin wanted to enjoy her time on the ice.

Her eyes landed on a figure some distance away and to her it appeared they were getting on the ice, "hey, careful stepping on the ice!" she called out, waving an arm slightly, "it's bumpy at the shore!" The last thing she wanted was someone falling and hurting themselves. Reena did not have the patience today to deal with misfortune. She's been through plenty of that with her own life.
