Here's an idea. a former DE is Dieing already. decides hes going to infect himself with a highly contagious disease and walk into the center of the party and announce that everyone there is now infected. as punishment for their crimes.

I volenteer for RPing the crazed madman who does this. it'll be fun. he'll probably socialize as much as possible, before making the announcement at the end of the night.

YES! Because the isolated muggle incidents could be explained away by the disease mutating/evolving. Which would make it extra hard to cure. It's a bit like Crabbe's fiendfyre, in the way that it got so out of hand and caused utter destruction.

Wow Morrigan. That is a freaking fantastic idea. It gives time for the actual ball to take place, then adds some sinister awesomeness after!

Plus then it would be nearly impossible to isolate what it was in elementals, should one ever submit to testing, that made them immune. Because of the differences in them that y'know... Causes them to control elements and stuff xDDD

lore reason for immunity :

they could purge themselves by morphing as they don't work like a human organism during that time. And when they change back the virus is gone.

that's what i was thinking, amy. i do think there would be some that would wanna speak up and help, though, which could cause more rogues/problems in the council.
